CHILLIE BILLIE boats a good record at this venue and won the race 12 months ago. Boasting another middle draw in stall 11, he's expected to be ridden prominently and won't be for stopping at the finish. Lady Ranger is interesting under a light weight and performed with credit in defeat at Cork and Dundalk the last twice, while Enter The Red ran better than his finishing position suggests at Limerick on Thursday and he makes up the shortlist.

Bebhinn was beaten by half a length on her racecourse introduction at the Curragh and should be a lot more forward for that outing. It is difficult to oppose Dermot Weld-trained horses at the moment, though, and RICH JADE can continue his fine run of form. By Henrythenavigator and out of a Red Ransom mare, there is a lot to like about her pedigree and the master of Rosewell is no stranger to readying one first time up. Californiadreaming is the first Ballydoyle juvenile of the year and is another to consider.

PLEASCACH is the standard-setter having earned a rating of 99 in two starts as a juvenile. Deemed good enough to contest a Group 3 on debut and not disgraced in fourth, she won a Leopardstown maiden impressively last July and there should be plenty more to come. Summaya represents a yard in great nick at present and has clearly improved from two to three years judged on her Cork success. Diamondsandrubies is the pick of the remainder.

RINGSIDE HUMOUR is hard to oppose on a hat-trick and a 5lb penalty might not be enough to halt her progress. Down the field in three maidens at the Curragh last season, she's clearly improved over the winter judged on taking triumphs at Gowran Park and Leopardstown recently. She justified favouritism on Wednesday and can continue on an upward trajectory while clearly on good terms with herself. Tipperary winner Pullman Brown and Acid rate best of the rest.

ANNADIAMOND was well supported on her return to turf at Gowran Park and ran a decent race despite failing to get her head in front. The extra furlong here should suit and she is given another chance. Sparanai could be the biggest danger judging by her solid performance in defeat at Dundalk. Madeira Classic has had just the one run since November 2012 but was only denied by a neck at this track on that occasion and could be a player. Shuriken might have improved for a change of scenery and remains open to improvement. Crafty Codger completes the shortlist after a sighter at Dundalk.

Ballydoyle bid to win this for the third successive year and the impeccably-bred Fluff makes plenty of appeal on debut. The Galileo filly is a sister to the Group 1 winner and 1000 Guineas third Maybe and already has some eyecatching entries for her three-year-old season. She might find it tough to defeat CHINESE LIGHT, though, as Dermot Weld's grey lost little in defeat when runner-up at Tipperary and represents a stable that has started the season in excellent nick. When In Doubt - a half-sister to the brilliant Moonlight Cloud - has her first start for these connections, and Alertness showed some encouraging signs at Gowran Park last week.

JUST BE LUCKY made a pleasing reappearance when finishing a half-length second at Gowran Park last week and can improve a finishing position here. Mighty Fine chased him home in sixth on that occasion but is entitled to improve for the outing and can get closer. The biggest danger could be Cenotaph, though, as he showed plenty of ability when chasing home a subsequent Listed runner-up at Naas. Newberry New outperformed market expectations on his second start and can progress again. The beautifully-bred Alamgiyr looks the pick of the newcomers and completes the shortlist.
