DALLAS STAR is a fascinating contender representing Amo Racing. Emmet Mullins' new arrival is a smart stayer on the Flat and was runner-up to Scandinavia in Listed company at Navan earlier this season. He's an exciting prospect if transferring that kind of ability to this discipline. En Or couldn't peg back the winner when second over hurdles at Galway recently. That was a solid run and he should be thereabouts again, while Minella Post was was collared late on at Ballinrobe and also deserves to be on the shortlist.

SIMPLE THINGS has been left on the same mark after her maiden hurdle victory at Tramore and may be able to follow up back in handicap company. The Getaway filly was runner-up twice in handicaps back in the spring and is still relatively unexposed. Hopeful Hero has run well in handicaps on his last two outings but has crept up a bit in the weights as a result. Alan O'Sullivan taking 5lb off his back now should help. Bells Grove was a cosy winner of his maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe back in June and is another that is respected on his handicap debut.

RED ACRES GEORGIE is interesting here. The Order Of St George mare was the subject of a serious gamble when last seen at Bellewstown in early July, going off 10/3 having been 40/1 in the morning. She was prominent when falling mid-race and could be a big player in this grade now. Jack Kennedy rides Returning Officer who disappointed on his hurdling debut at Sligo. He had shown some promise in bumpers previously and should be capable of better. His stablemate Vargas showed a bit more at Ballinrobe last time and is another to consider.

MAXICOURT has been proving costly to follow but looks capable of winning one of these if things drop his way. The Maxious gelding ran a big race when third to Pure Logic at Killarney last time and may be able to turn the tables. Sekakarma was a game winner at Wexford latest and could be a big player again after just a 4lb rise. The consistent Demanding Gerry had a blip at Kilbeggan on her penultimate outing, but is usually thereabouts and could be place material.

There could be more to come from CLANOKRE LASS on her handicap debut. The Poet's Word filly was a solid third at Down Royal and the more galloping track there seemed to suit her better than Downpatrick previously. She looks on a competitive mark now and will prove hard to beat. Goin' ran a big race when third at Bellewstown and off just a 2lb higher mark, he looks like a leading contender. Mother Ship has been runner-up on her last two outings and is another that has to be on the shortlist.

EMERALD ENIGMA was a touch disappointing on her jumping debut at Cork early last month, but may bounce back here. The Buck's Boum mare was well supported after completing a double in bumpers, but she could only manage sixth behind stablemate Easter Bonnet. This represents just her second start over timber and she is likely to have more to offer. Mossy Way ran well for a long way when third to Colcannon in a strong contest at Fairyhouse last Easter and has to be respected. Master Sydney is a player based on her third at Kilbeggan two starts ago.

Anna McGuinness rides the progressive KNOCKNAGORAN LADY and she may be able to score again. The Lauro mare won over three miles at Down Royal late last month and although dropping back in trip is a slight concern, this big galloping track and the stiff finish should suit. Moonlight Paradise also comes here in winning form after her victory at Tramore last month. She could be a danger with Jody Townend a noteworthy booking in this lady riders event, while the top weight Can Happen has run well for Georgie Benson a couple of times on the Flat during the summer and is another to consider.

EMERGENCY MAN looks the pick of those that have run and may be able to make his experience count. The Shirocco gelding has been placed on both starts and it was a decent effort to finish third behind a smart looking sort in Teofil in a winners' contest at Killarney last month. Newcomers from some of the bigger yards warrant respect. Henry De Bromhead's charge El Paraiso is a home-bred by owner Kenny Alexander and is out of a mare that was third in a Listed bumper, while the Gordon Elliott-trained Ellen Imlach is a half-sister to the yard's dual Grade 2 and Galway Plate winner Ash Tree Meadow.
