Danzoe must be respected in his bid for a hat-trick while Whitecrest is considered despite a 6lb penalty for his Windsor success last week. Aubretia and Sandwith both make the shortlist and Captain Scooby could be in the shake-up but a tentative verdict goes the way of MASTER BOND. He had to settle for second best behind Baby Strange at Pontefract last week but a reproduction of that effort would give him every chance this afternoon.

Captain Cardington showed a really good attitude to score at Windsor last week and he can make his presence felt again despite a 6lb penalty, but slight preference is for MUSICALLY. Mick Channon's filly won with plenty in hand over 1m6f at Catterick last time and a 7lb rise for that success looks fair. Queen's Star has obvious each-way claims, with Sunny Bank and Elysian Heights both worth a second look on their respective handicap debuts.

Rakticate was well beaten at Lingfield last month but if she runs up to her handicap mark of 60 she can play a leading role here. Her stablemate Amelia Hull would not have to be a superstar to get involved on her debut and she is worth a market check. Lucky Suit and Unidexter are both respected but GABRIAL THE TYRANT is a tentative selection. He has not exactly set the world alight in his two runs to date but is surely capable of better than he has shown.

Elidor probably sets the standard with his Goodwood second and he looks sure to give a good account here. Intermix shaped nicely on his debut at Kempton and he must be respected along with the interesting newcomers Muhtaram and Powder Hound. SIZZLER shaped with plenty of promise on his debut at Windsor, though, and he is entitled to improve a good deal with that experience under his belt, so edges the verdict.

A'JUBA got off the mark at Pontefract last time and is fancied to give a good account on his handicap debut off a mark of 77. Myboyalfie made all to score at Windsor last time and an 8lb rise might not prevent another big run. First Post is considered despite a 4lb rise for his Goodwood success with Extraterrestrial, Crown Counsel and West End Lad also worthy of consideration.

Safarjal was bitterly disappointing at Kempton last time but her previous form would give her a big chance here. Last Fighter has shaped nicely in his two runs to date and he should be capable of getting off the mark before too long but SURREAL is preferred here. She was narrowly denied by Embankment at Windsor last time and there could still be a little more to come from her.

15:35 Nottingham (Class 6) (3YO plus)

MAYBEME has dropped to a mark 4lb lower than when successful at Beverley in June and the application of a hood could be the catalyst for a return to form. Tawseef has been raised 6lb for his 1m2f Brighton success but there is every reason to expect another big run from him. Present Day is unexposed and she might not have to step up too much on her Salisbury effort last time to take a hand.

Hernando Torres has been knocking on the door of late and he looks sure to run another big race this afternoon. Honoured also has claims, while Edgware Road should be on the premises. Nolecce also makes the shortlist but it might pay to take a chance on SOUTH CAPE. He has not won for two years but has dropped to a very attractive handicap mark now and acts well with cut in the ground.
