PHILIP THE TANK has been found a real opening in this maiden claimer and can take full advantage of the drop in class. Dels Fast Jam and S. S. Minnow can also get competitive.
SMART AND SENSIBLE has done enough in recent outings to suggest a maiden of this nature is well within his grasp and can score at the expense of Tuscaloosa Jones and Dr Wiz.
IFRIT was forced wide throughout when finishing third here last time, an excellent effort in the circumstances, and provided he gets a smoother trip this time he can get his head in front. Ripinandatearin and Texas Tex are the dangers.
PROUD REWARD gamely held on over 1m here last time and she could take some stopping if arriving in the same mood. Her main dangers look to be The Great Romp and Indian Red.
NOFINANCINGNEEDED didn't appear to see out the 6f trip last time and will prove difficult to beat if recapturing the form of his neck second over this track and trip before that. Boot The Boss was narrowly behind the selection in third that day so he has to be respected, while Skeleton Crewn looks next best.
SHINY FINISH found a step up in trip and class too much for him last time but prior to that he only went down narrowly over C&D in the same grade as this. A repeat of that run would see him hard to beat, while A Lil More A J is very consistent at this level and should be in the frame. The improving Resurrection Bay looks best of the rest.
BEMOIS lost his rider when last sighted in July but might be worth another chance on more favourable terms. Buzzing By Them and Hurricane Bob ran well in defeat when last sighted and complete the shortlist.
