Choir Practice failed to build on her Newmarket debut at Sandown last time and may be worth opposing here with NAMU. Barry Hills' filly found only Giving too good at Warwick last month and is improving with experience. Brighton second Balik Pearls is upped in class and more intertesting is the Godolphin newcomer Latona and the once-raced Laqataat.

The hat-trick-seeking GRANSTON is at the top of his game and seems sure to give supporters a run for their money again. Flipando is tumbling down the weights and Seb Sanders is an eye-catching jockey booking, while Hartshead and Little Jimbob can't be left out of the equation. Third to Go Solo over C&D in July, African Sahara could also play a part.

BA FOXTROT, who won a Listed race at Epsom in June and was a decent fourth in the Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury last time, looks the pick of the weights here. Violette has won her last three starts, including a Group 3 at Ayr last month, and will make life interesting, however, and the unbeaten Bonnie Prince Blue can't be ignored off a low weight.

Fayr Jag has been holding his own in better company than this, running Baron's Pit to a neck in a Group 2 at Newmarket last Sunday. But he may be vulnerable over 7f against the likes of Epsom winner Suggestive and COUNCIL MEMBER. The latter was clearly out of his depth behind Dubawi at Deauville last time but has strong claims on his early-season form over this trip.

16:00 Redcar (Class 6) (3YO plus)

Track and trip are ideal for LET IT BE, who won off this mark at Haydock in July and is capable of boosting her tally today. Just Waz has shaped as though he'd be suited by this step up in distance, while Bartra Rock beat Whispering Death over C&D last month, though he was beaten off a similar mark to today's at Catterick next time.

16:35 Redcar (Class 5) (3YO plus)

This is sure to be run at a searing gallop with trail-blazers The Leather Wedge, Amira, Prime Recreation and Valiant Romeo all likely to be in the firing-line. That will suit SIR SANDROVITCH, who was making headway when brought down at Pontefract last time and is worth another chance. Come Away With Me could reward each-way support.

7

17:10 Redcar (Class 5) (3YO plus)

Joan & Derek Blackburn Golden Handicap

SILVERHAY bounced back to form over C&D 10 days ago, beating Bright Sun by a neck. Though 3lb higher here, he has run well off higher marks in the past and could easily go in again. Charmatic is gradually coming down the weights again and should be winning soon, while course winner Patronage is better than his last two runs suggest. Del Mar Sunset looks the pick of the remainder.
