The Gaikwar is ultra-consistent, having not finished out of the first four on his last fourteen starts, and he should be there or thereabouts again tonight. Preference, however, is for the Jeremy Noseda-trained INDEBTED, who can return to winning ways back on this surface, after being unsuited by the soft going on her handicap debut at Sandown last time. The Jamie Spencer-ridden Daring Affair is another in good form and should make the frame.

CD EUROPE takes a big drop in class here into claiming company and providing he handles the surface should take all the beating. He was placed on his only other start at the track, back in March 2002, and although he didn't relish the experience, he should still be up to winning this. C&D winner Law Breaker returns to the all-weather after a disappointing effort at Sandown last time, and he too should go well on his preferred surface.

Lucksin has been pretty consistent and probably deserves to win a race, but he has had plenty of chances and may have to settle for place money again here. Shunkawakhan made a promising debut when runner-up on softish ground at Pontefract and should go close, but Sir Mark Prescott's newcomer RIVETTING just gets the nod. He is a half-brother to a couple of juvenile winners and could open his account at the first time of asking.

THOUGHTSOFSTARDOM's only success to date came in selling company and Karl Burke's charge could get his head back in front on his first all-weather start, now that he returns to this sphere. Conciliate scored on his only start on this surface back in May, and should not be far away, while Otis B Driftwood likes it round here and can reach the frame.

EL CHAPARRAL's last victory came over C&D in June, and he is taken to return to winning ways here tonight especially with Jamie Spencer an eye-catching jockey booking. Another C&D winner Easibet Dot Net has been running pretty well on the turf, and is quite well treated on the all-weather, so should go well, while Pre Eminance is back-up in trip after staying on over 1m 2f to finish third at Windsor last time, and he can make the frame on his polytrack debut.

Willie Haggas and Jamie Spencer can complete a quick double here with ACCOMPLISH, who relished the step-up to this trip to score in first-time blinkers at Folkestone last week, and she can follow-up here. Montjeu Baby, who is 2lb better off tonight, chased the selection home that day and she can do so again here, while Raul Sahara has shown some form on this surface in the past, and could make the frame.
