Visions Of Johanna is capable of making his presence felt under Serena Brotherton. However, his optimum trip is arguably 1m4f and preference, therefore, is for MARKET PUZZLE. The selection has edged up 3lb for scoring at Haydock last month and, a poor Leicester run aside, has been a model of consistency this term. Dean Iarracht knows what is required to win around here and, only 4lb higher than when scoring at Beverley last month, is another to consider.

A market move for Kevin Ryan's newcomer, Dream The Blues, would be interesting as she is a daughter of Oasis Dream and a full-sister to a sprint winner. Nevertheless, it may be best to side with the racecourse experience of COOL RHYTHM, who demonstrated his effectiveness on soft ground at Newcastle on debut and wouldn't mind any juice in the ground today. Vizean generally gives her running but could only be recommended with each-way insurance given her number of near misses.

LATTE concedes weight all around but is the highest rated runner on official figures and has demonstrated his effectiveness at plating level previously, landing a Wolverhampton seller over this trip when last sighted. If first time blinkers work the oracle, Artists Corner could give the selection most to think about, although he has a little to find with the selection based on their recent all-weather running. Class Monitor would be 5lb better off with the selection if this were a handicap but a first-time visor could elicit some improvement in Elaine Burke's charge.

Money arrived for MASTER BOND at York last time but he was done no favours when hampered at the start and had to settle for sixth, albeit if the winner looked an above average sort on the day. However, there was much to like about the selection's previous C&D second to subsequent Ayr scorer Deepsand and a reproduction of that effort would make him tough to beat this afternoon. Premier Choice ran his best race of the season when second over C&D in July and merits consideration along with newcomer Hawks Reef, who looks the pick of Richard Fahey's pair, being by Bahamian Bounty.

FINAL DELIVERY sets the form standard based upon his recent efforts that include a third-placed effort (dead-heating) over the extended mile at Wolverhampton latest. If transferring that form back onto turf, Marco Botti's charge looks capable of opening his account. Willie Wag Tail hails from a yard in good order at present and is feared most, with the benefit of a debut run at Kempton now under his belt. Richard Fahey's Going Grey looks the pick of the newcomers.

Al Furat won impressively on his last visit to this venue (over this trip) but was well-held off his revised mark at Catterick when last sighted and DAYTIME DREAMER thus gets the vote. The selection has been raised 3lb for finishing second at Catterick last month but has won off higher Flat marks in the past and won't be found wanting for stamina. Countrywide Flame warrants respect now back on the level after a comprehensive hurdles success at Carlisle latest. Chookie Hamilton and Simple Jim are others with place possibilities.

Cape Cross colt WADHA fetched 200,000 gns as a yearling and it is interesting that connections have opted to continue in maiden company, even though he has now qualified for a handicap mark. The drop back to 6f could prove the catalyst for his first career success, as could the fitting of first-time cheekpieces. Tim Etherington's Bailadeira has a bit to find with the selection on official figures but can battle it out with Jeremy Gask's newcomer, Magic Secret, for minor money.

HOPPY'S FLYER ran his best race of the season when dropped back to this trip at Catterick last time and is taken to build upon that second-placed effort off a 1lb higher mark. A 6lb rise for Uncle Bryn's recent 1m second at Hamilton seems harsh at first glance but John Quinn's charge did pull seven lengths clear of the remainder and should remain competitive now dropped in trip. Last time out Carlisle scorer Ingenti and C&D winner Lady Del Sol are others to consider in a competitive heat.
