MAISON DE VILLE ran out an easy winner on her first start for Brian Ellison at Market Rasen and she should have few problems following up under a penalty. Her biggest danger could prove to be Midnight Streaker, who possibly didn't get home over 2m6f on her hurdling debut at Ayr and had previously shaped with plenty of promise in Irish bumpers, while Catterick runner-up Miss Mohawk also has place credentials.

TALKIN THOMAS gets the tentative vote. The form of his Newcastle third looks fairly solid with winner, fourth and fifth all striking since and he should give a good account racing off the same mark. Ravens Brook is clearly a lot better than he showed at Wetherby last time and a repeat of his Bangor romp previous to that would give him every chance, while Tiny Dancer also looks capable of a big run dropping back in trip.

SUD PACIFIQUE has run three promising races since early December - the form of his Musselburgh fourth behind subsequent Grade 2 winner Clever Cookie standing out - and he could claim a much deserved win. Looking On is unexposed with only three runs under his belt and starting handicap life off a fair-looking mark of 118, he looks capable od a big run, while It's A Mans World also merits consideration on his first start in handicap company.

BE BOP BORU has impressively notched up a Wincanton/Newcastle double recently and although a further 5lb rise will obviously make life tougher, he remains open to more improvement and is fancied complete the hat-trick. Sleep In First remains attractively handicapped in this sphere and a drop in class gives him hope, while Mister Jones disappointed when sent off favourite for his handicap debut at Kelso and now has questions to answer.

PRINCE BLACKTHORN will arrive full of confidence following a couple of track and trip victories since early December and he looks capable of defying a further 6lb rise in the handicap. Most feared is Ancient Times, who also boasts winning C&D form and win and placed efforts at Ayr this year show that he is as well as ever, while Cara Court is more than capable with a clear round of jumping.

FORCE OF HABIT produced one of his best efforts when running 105-rated performer Dark And Dangerous to within a length and a quarter at Catterick last Wednesday and he makes plenty of appeal lining up off the same mark. Dropzone is 3lb lower than when fourth in a stronger contest at Leicester and he warrants respect, as do Bob's Dream and Mister Wall Street who also drop in class.

Bespoke Lady confirmed ability shown between the flags when third on her NH debut in a Kelso bumper and she should give another good account, but a chance is taken on INSIDE OUT. Anthony Honeyball does particularly well in NH Flat races and this filly is sure to know her job first time out. Tim Easterby's pair Looking Glass and It's Time To Dance are both respected, with Dougie Costello possibly riding the first string.
