HITS ONLY JUDE has already clocked up a double this month on turf and has proved just as useful on the all-weather. A handicap winner over 6f here last February, he should take all the beating in this grade. Maze won a similar contest over 7f at Lingfield last time and looks the danger but chances can also be given to the veteran Royal Dignitary, a prolific scorer at this level last year, and Alpha Tauri, who landed a double in sellers over C&D earlier in the year.

In a wide-open contest, it's worth taking a chance on STEEL CITY BOY. He's running consistently well at present over the minimum trip but has scored over this distance and currently has 15lb in hand on his best winning mark on the all-weather. Dimaire is another consistent sort but looks slightly flattered by her form figures and is a still a maiden after 17 starts. Interchoice Star, a C&D winner two starts ago, might prove a safer bet for the forecast despite carrying another 5lb today.

Plenty in with chances but it's worth taking a chance on GEMMA'S DELIGHT. Her one win came over 7f on turf but she was a good third over 6f at Wolverhampton last month on her first start in five months and is entitled to have improved for the outing. And she demonstrated on her only other run over 5f that she has the basic speed to compete here. Spirit Of Coniston, in fine form on turf and equally good on the all-weather, looks the danger but chances can also be given to Muqalad, Shakespeares Excel and Gorgeous Goblin.

If JAMAICAN BOLT handles the switch to fibresand, he should take all the beating. He was caught close home on his debut over 6f at Doncaster last November in a warm maiden. He seemed to appreciate the cut in the ground that day and should take to the all-weather. Beautiful Day has turned in a string of decent performances on the polytrack at Lingfield and can chase the selection home, while Ladydolly, a close second over C&D in a similar contest last time, can't be ruled out either.

In this trappy contest, it could pay to stick with recent 1m4f Kempton winner KINGAROO. He's up 5lb for a game neck success but is clearly in fine form and could be suited by this step up in trip. First Rock, twice a winner in bumpers, could pose a threat if recapturing the form of his close second over 1m3f here. Bold Adventure needs to improve on his recent third over 2m at this track but has won off a 7lb higher mark on the all-weather.

Although he's up in class, MAJURO looks the one to be on. His four all-weather wins in his last six starts have come in claiming or selling races, but he romped home by eight lengths at Wolverhampton latest and can follow up. Almahaza looks the danger after a double over 1m here but he has plenty to do at the weights. Icelandic and Gobama could also be given chances.

Bold Diva, who won off a 3lb higher mark at Wolverhampton last summer, has returned to form of late but may still have a little more to find. Novastasia has gone close off similar marks but is still a maiden after 22 starts. It's possibly worth taking a chance on MONSIEUR PONTAVEN, even though he has never run on the all-weather and is making his first start since last August. The penny appeared to have dropped that day when scoring over 6f at Ayr and, with this longer trip likely to suit, he's taken to follow up.
