ACCLAIMED finished well beaten on the flat last time but he has previously shaped with promise on his hurdling debut at Punchestown, behind Blackstairmountain, and that form sets the clear standard here. He should take all the beating but should he fail to fire, the one to take advantage could be The Pott Reidy who won over 1m6f on the flat in October last year and has the scope to make a decent hurdler. False Economy has shown enough to suggest he can take a hand in a contest of this nature and he merits a place on the shortlist.
Acclaimed's third to Blackstairmountain reads well now and he should be up to taking what is a pretty ordinary contest. Lobbinstown Girl and False Economy appeal as the most likely dangers.

Gallery Man, who was knocking on the door over hurdles last year, will strip fitter for his flat spin earlier this month and must be considered a leading player.
Deal Or No Deal looked to be going the right way over hurdles before tipping up at Gowran Park, and he is taken to score in the hope that a spin over the larger obstacles has set him up for this. The pick of Tipper Road's form gives him a chance, while Vast Consumption should give her running once again.

PRINCE ROCO stands out here on the form of his third to Osana over at Navan in November last year. He sees out this trip well and has form on a sound surface so he could prove tough to beat this evening. Rocheford Bridge was not disgraced on his chasing debut at Fairyhouse but he was beaten a long way into third. However, the better ground here could help his cause. Better ground could also be the key to Wickham Street and he should not be left out of calculations.
Wickham Street hasn't really gone on as expected over fences, but this is his easiest task in a while and he is taken to put some disappointing efforts behind in this. Prince Roco and Classic Frontier have solid place credentials.
This looks tricky but P'TIT FUTE stands out on his hurdles form and, whilst he has not exactly set the world alight in three runs over fences so far, he could prove a cut above these rivals. Corskeagh Royale has obvious form claims but he is proving expensive to follow and might have to settle for a place again. Diophas was in the process of running a big race when falling on his chasing debut at Clonmel and was not disgraced at Navan subsequently so he could also take a hand in this.
A tricky maiden chase to assess with several talented but quirky performers likely to be at the head of the market. Diophas is a speculative selection based on his earlier maiden form, with the enigmatic Corskeagh Royale looking a real danger in such a weak contest. P'tit Fute and Ballyassian make most appeal of the remainder.

There was plenty to like about BLARNEY HIGHWAYMAN's runners-up effort on his NH debut in a Cork bumper earlier this month and he had previously won a point-to-point on decent ground so gets the nod today. Faultless Feelings won a point-to-point in good style in February and it would be no surprise to see him mount a bold bid whilst Stretch Junior and King's Lion could also get involved.
A tricky race to get a handle on but the percentage call has to be Blarney Highwayman, who sets the standard on his Cork effort and should do better now dropped in trip. A couple of newcomers to look out for are Stretch Junior and The Shepherd King.
