Decisive Intent had Perplexity behind (eighth) when fifth on her debut over 7f at Leopardstown, but Joseph O'Brien's charge has shown improved form since, finishing third at Limerick, while Elizabeth Browning struggled in Listed company on debut but can fare a lot better in this lesser event. That said, the experienced runners don't set the bar too high, so it could be worth focusing on Aidan O'Brien's two newcomers Kiss Me Not and PROMISE TO BE TRUE. The former holds a Group 1 entry and makes plenty of appeal, but slight preference is for the last-named as she is a full-sister to 2011 Moyglare Stud Stakes winner Maybe amongst others.

This looks a great opportunity for old favourite GORDON LORD BYRON to regain the winning thread. Tom Hogan's stable star, who is the top-rated performer in this line-up, drops out of Pattern company for the first time since March 2013 and he could prove a cut above these rivals. It is also worth noting that he won his only previous visit to Tipperary. Al Qahwa is best treated at these weights but needs to prove that he has trained on, so it could be up to Elleval, not beaten far in Listed company at Leopardstown last time, to ask most questions.

A number of these look to have chances, so JEMBATT receives what can only be a tentative vote. He has run well at this track on a number of occasions in the past, scoring twice, and won with enough in hand at Down Royal last time to suggest that he could defy a 6lb rise. Enough Is Enough bounced back to form at Gowran last time, winning by three lengths, and she must enter calculations, while Allinone, Tamisa, Punches Pious, Coilogshakeysirgin and Queen Zain are just a few more with claims.

FROM EDEN turned in a fair effort on his seasonal debut at Listowel last time and is expected to improve now granted this additional furlong. Snoozing Indian appears to be improving between runs and is considered the main danger ahead of Elltaaf, a former Godolphin inmate that was third on debut for Saeed bin Suroor at Chelmsford in October and is now having her first start for a new stable on her seasonal return.

A modest affair and perhaps JACKIE ELLIS can take advantage of a further drop down the handicap. A step-up to this trip should assist the five-year-old after she was outpaced at Sligo earlier this week, and a further 1lb drop by the handicapper leaves her below her last winning mark. Aimhirgin Lass could also prove up to the job after an unlucky second at Ballinrobe just last week. That is the best piece of recent form on offer, with Camile also expected to be on the premises having won over this course and distance in May.

WINDSOR BEACH has looked a well-handicapped animal for quite some time, and could be about to get off the mark for Johnny Murtagh. He was well backed last time when just finishing second, and the winner has since franked the form by going in again at Limerick since. The selection takes a slight drop in class, and has the services of useful 7lb claimer Denis Linehan to aid his cause. Knockmaole Boy was a rare winner for Jim Culloty last week and a 4lb rise doesn't look overly harsh, while Royal Blessing looks likely to be suited by this slight increase in trip and holds lively place claims.

This increase in trip to 1m4f should play to the strengths of ATHENRY BOY, who has shaped well in his last three starts and deserves a change of luck. The four-year-old has only gone up 2lb for those excellent efforts, and this represents an excellent chance to shed his maiden tag. My Manekineko won the last time he was in a Flat race (at Dundalk in May) and the booking of Donnacha O'Brien looks to be a positive one, while Papal Motel and the potentially well-treated Banff complete the list of likely contenders.
