ALKI POINT stepped up on a pleasing debut performance when runner-up over 5f here latest and, with further improvement on the cards, she could open her account at the third time of asking. Trishas Even has shown enough in previous starts to suggest that she can go close, while Dondotte makes plenty of appeal on debut.
BIT OF SUNSHINE had been in cracking form prior to a lacklustre effort over five and a half furlongs here last time and a chance is taken on him to bounce back this evening. De Sica has run well in two recent outings since dropped to this grade and should give another good account, while Fire Talker is certainly no forlorn hope.
LET'S DREAM AGAIN will arrive here brimming with confidence after completing the hat-trick over track and trip last time and she will be fancied to extend her winning sequence to four. Hammett Star was only half a length behind that day and should go close once again, while S S Shelby cannot be overlooked, having won her last couple of visits to the racetrack.
DUE SOUTH confirmed that her promising debut performance was no fluke when bolting up over track and trip latest and further improvement should see her repeat the dose. Exit Wound faces her easiest assignment yet and rates a big threat, while One More Palo is respected having reached the frame in both of her previous visits here (winning one).
JACKSONVILLE won with plenty in hand over 5f at the track last time and will prove a tough nut to crack if in the same mood tonight. County Wexford has reached the frame in each of her six visits here in the past (winning two) and should be in the thick of the action once again, while Shot For Grandma is expected to bounce back to form, eased in class.
HAPPY TOES is taken to land the spoils on his racecourse debut. He has shaped promisingly in recent workouts and Keven Lewis will have him fit enough to do himself justice. Offlee Special appears to be heading in the right direction and should feature, while Nicky Creek has place claims.
BOLD MEETING ran out a comfortable winner over track and trip last time and could take some stopping in his bid to follow up. Western Strider, Curlys Day and Golden Mist finished second, third and fourth respectively in a similar contest at this venue latest and they may be left to scrap it out for minor honours once again.
An opening victory over track and trip last month will have done FRANKIE V'S confidence the world of good and he gets the vote to lead his rivals home again tonight. Tanners Wes Win ran a fine race over 6f here latest and should put up another bold show, while Wishndontmakeitso is worthy of consideration dropped in grade.
LOOKINGFORLOVE barely had to break into a sweat to score over track and trip earlier this month and, entitled to strip fitter for that first run since November, he will be fancied to go in again. Wild Hombre could make his presence felt now dropped in grade, while I Think It Is is in with a shout.
