Although he's starting to look exposed, RHYTON might be worth supporting one more time. A winner on the Flat, he made little impression on his first seven starts over hurdles but went close over this trip at Stratford last month when dropped to this grade. A repeat effort might be good enough here. Jewellery, fourth behind the selection latest, could chase him home while Robello could go close.

This can go the way of LAUSTRA BAD. He was a very comfortable winner over 2m1f here last month and, with the longer trip not a problem, can defy a 10lb rise in the weights to score again. The danger looks to be Midnight Opera, who won by 12 lengths at Wincanton after his main rival fell at the last, although Forest Rhythm also has claims on his best form.

It's hard to rule any of these out but slight preference is for VICTORY PARADE, despite carrying 7lb extra for a 3m2f Wincanton success earlier in the month. He looks on an upward curve over fences and should be able to defy his penalty after romping home by 21 lengths. The danger could be Ours, who flopped last time but remains well weighted on his winning form. Louis Pasteur isn't out of it.

It's difficult to ignore the claims of REBEL DU MAQUIS. After landing a hat-trick in style last year, he's performed with credit in tougher contests since, finishing fifth behind Medermit and Captain Chris in a Grade 1 chase at Sandown in February. With much less on his plate today, he should take all the beating. Irish raider Lady Hillingdon, winner of a modest chase at Killarney, looks the one for the forecast. Chase Gate is open to improvement.

Double Mead, a seasoned performer in races of this nature, is chasing a hat-trick, while Lord Henry has been running with credit in handicap company. Both have good claims but preference is for TAKEROC, placed twice in Grade 1 chases at his peak. Only recently introduced to these contests, he ran out a very easy winner at Leicester last month and has since found only a rejuvenated My Way De Solzen too good at Hereford.

A few can be given chances but preference if for MAURITINO, who escapes a penalty for his impressive 2m Wincanton success as it came in a conditional jockeys' race. He has the assistance of AP McCoy today and should be capable of following up. Allformary, another impressive Wincanton winner, looks the danger although she has to carry another 22lb today. Special Cuvee and Lucy's Perfect shouldn't be overlooked.
