CEZEMBRE (12) is a well-bred newcomer from the powerful Francis-Henri Graffard stable and is expected to be well prepared for a winning debut. She is a half-sister to GALA REAL, a three-time winner, including at Listed level. DESEO (13) appeals as the main danger, boasting an attractive pedigree and expected to know her job first time out. PHOENIX BAY (7) and WOOTTON FILLY (9) both bring useful experience and ability to the table and should also have a say in the finish.

CIAO BELLO (5) showed a good deal of promise when second at Lyon Parilly in a Class 3 on debut late in June. With improvement expected he can edge this over the well bred newcomer FABELLA (9), who will be well tuned by his astute trainer. LUDWIG DER ZWEITE (6) took a nice step forward on his second start when third in mid-June in a Class 3 at Marseille Borely and can not be ignored. LAKME (10) is worth a market inspection on his racecourse bow.

LADY MARA (7) produced a creditable effort when fourth in the Italian Oaks (Gr.2) at Milan on her latest start, having previously recorded two impressive wins in France. She is taken to get the better of MAZZALA (5), who is unbeaten in two starts, most recently showing plenty of determination to land a Class 1 contest in late May. He remains open to further improvement and commands respect. SAINT MARTIN (1), a Listed winner two starts ago, is another leading contender, while MATURE (4) appeals as the best of the remainder.

MADAME X (6) was beaten four lengths by SEESHAUPT (2) on her French debut at Marseille-Vivaux in late June. Now switching to turf and meeting that rival on much more favourable terms, she can reverse the placings. SEESHAUPT (2) may be better suited by the all-weather surface. POSSENHOFEN (3) finished fifth in the same race but cannot be overlooked, having scored on turf on his previous start. LANDMAN (5) completes the shortlist.

MUENCHEN (8) produced a strong effort when beaten less than a length into third at ParisLongchamp 18 days ago. Lightly raced and open to further improvement, he gets the vote. ILIANNABELLA (6) rates the main danger after finishing placed on her last two starts, most recently a solid third in a competitive handicap at Lyon-Parilly in late June. ON Y CROIT (9) appeals as a sound each-way option, while the in-form TERREDEGUERRE (13) also deserves plenty of respect.

BELL SONG (2) has enjoyed a productive campaign, recording two victories before finishing a solid second on the all-weather in late June. She is taken to confirm her superiority over VIVE LA REINE (3), who finished third when they met at Marseille-Vivaux on 20 June. MORUS (1) also commands respect after a creditable fourth in a Class 4 handicap at Lyon-Parilly in mid-June, while REUX (6) looks the best of the remainder.

SWEEP AWAY (14) produced his best performance for some time when runner-up at Lyon-Parilly in mid-June, his first start wearing cheekpieces. Now on a workable handicap mark, he is taken to come out on top. NOBLE AMBER (2) rates the main danger after scoring at Lyon-Parilly in late June, and the valuable weight allowance claimed by Marie Velon helps offset the penalty for that success. HONEY PEARL (1) and ETATIQUE (6) are both capable in this type of handicap and can play a lead role.

CHALDERO (15) has slipped to an attractive handicap mark after several unplaced efforts since winning a Class 2 handicap at ParisLongchamp last September off a higher rating. He looks well treated and is worth another chance. RIASSOU (4) has been in good form this season, winning twice at Lyon-Parilly in March before finishing a solid second at the same venue in May. TEN HORNS (1) also merits respect after going down narrowly at Dax earlier this month. BREIZH SKY (2) has sound each-way claims, while WAZIERS (16) is another to consider from the foot of the weights.
