A very interesting race where recent form is tin on the ground. MANHATTAN CERA (9) showed ability as a three-year-old and has been specifically prepared, with Matthieu Abrivard taking the reins. MADE IN VAB (7) has a similar profile and looks set to be his main rival. MEMPHIS DE VAL (2), a potential improver can be a threat. MIMI DE VAL (4) is heading in the right direction, also warrants consideration.

LET'S GO SAUTREUIL (9), effective under these starting conditions can get involved with the finish. If LOKA LOKA (5) reproduces her performance over this course and distance on May 28, she should prove very hard to beat. Runner-up that day, LOUVE D'ENFER (3), now entrusted to Jean-Michel Bazire, will be aiming to get much closer. LAIKA DU LEARD (4) may find herself outpaced early but is expected to finish strongly. An interesting race. NASSFELD (9) left a sense of unfinished business at Meslay-du-Maine and has a good opportunity to make amends against modest opposition. Despite his disqualification, NOLDO D'ECHAL (4) showed signs of ability on debut and is worth keeping an eye on. A strong finisher, NOBLE DE TESSEL (7) should benefit from the step up in trip and could have a say. NOTRE PRINCE (5) is capable of improvement and could make the frame.

A very open lucky last race. JOKAI (13), a recent runner-up at Feurs, and JASON GEDE (4), a winner over this course and distance last month, look the most likely contenders in this amateur drivers' event. It is worth noting that Marie Gobet, who partnered both previously, will now drive the former. KOMMUNES DE PLAY (12), knocking on the door of victory, and INVICTUS ELLIS (15), runner-up to JASON GEDE (4) last time out, also warrant respect.
