The Sarah Humphrey yard is operating at a tremendous strike-rate this season and FLEMI TWO TOES can improve her record further. Placed in three bumpers for Rebecca Curtis last term, the gelding impressed when scoring on his hurdling debut at Plumpton last month. Further improvement is anticipated and he can supplement those gains with stamina assured over this trip. Quel Elite is a an obvious threat if ready after a break, with course winner Crafti Bookie another likely candidate.

A fascinating contest with all five considered, although three arrive on recovery missions after recent disappointments. However, Nicky Richards has wasted little time in turning the attentions of REALT MOR to chasing after an impressive success at Kelso last spring and he looks a fascinating recruit to larger obstacles. Bear's Affair, Mac Aeda and Railway Dillon were similarly rated over timber and all will be seeking a clear round which would see them very much on the premises to say the least.

ROSSMORE LAD is 7lb higher for winning at Chepstow in October but was far from disgraced off that mark in the quality hurdle won by Dorset Square at Cheltenham subsequently. Gerald Quinn's 10lb claim could be the decisive factor and he gets the vote ahead of the progressive Simonside, whose best days over hurdles look to be ahead of him after a convincing Leicester success. My Arch and Scotswell are respected while Descaro would be dangerous if refining his questionable hurdling technique.

Nine Stories is unbeaten in two outings over fences and may well outclass this field but hasn't been seen since the spring and the guaranteed race-fitness of ex-Howard Johnson trained DIAMOND FRONTIER affords him preference. Only reeled in late on at Newcastle last time by Kings Grey under an inspired James Reveley ride, he will hopefully adopt similarly aggressive front-running tactics here. Shadrack, from the in-form Sue Smith yard, appeals off a fair mark and completes the shortlist dropped in grade.

This looks competitive but DANCE FOR JULIE is a paragon of consistency and steps back in grade after filling the minor placing in Listed company behind Alasi here on Charlie Hall day. She's probably where the handicapper wants her but still rates the safest option in an open heat. Sure Josie Sure should be spot-on after her recent Haydock fourth behind Desert Cry and looks a threat, while the unexposed Zaplamation looks on a tempting mark and cannot be discounted.

Question marks against most but FRONTIER BOY is the obvious exception and can defy both top weight and a punitive 11lb rise for a decisive Sedgefield success last month. He's lightly raced, looks on the upgrade and the Ewart yard is enjoying a very pleasing time at present. Danny John Boy was beaten a long way at Newcastle last week but is entitled to strip fitter for the run. He could improve significantly here while the unexposed Bishophill Jack is a possible improver.

The market should prove informative but there is a decent level of form on offer from those to have already visited the track. Life Of Laughter and George Fernbeck finished first and second respectively at Huntingdon and there should be little between them here on these terms, while UEUETEOTL showed a resilient attitude to prevail at Carlisle over a furlong further than today's distance. However, he showed a pleasing turn of foot that day and should be ideally suited by this shorter trip.
