RIGHT RESULT bounced back from a disappointing effort in the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury when recording a creditable second over this trip at Pontefract on his debut for John Quinn. The son of Acclamation has shown enough to suggest he is up to this and was held in high-regard by jockey Richard Hughes when plying his trade from the Richard Hannon yard. Gabriel's Lad is likely to make the frame after an eye-catching Lingfield debut, while the Ed McMahon-trained Archers Prize is the pick of the remainder.

Pint Size continues to hold his form admirably since making the switch to the Gay Kelleway yard and despite disappointing odds-on backers when last sighted at this venue, the gelded son of Misu Mond is worthy of another chance in the first-time blinkers. Courtland King is another to take seriously under the championship-chasing Kieren Fallon but BALM gets the nod for the red-hot Richard Hannon. The filly shaped well here in similar company over 6f last time out and is taken to relish this drop back to the minimum distance.

Brave Prospector was last seen at Ayr when contesting the valuable Gold Cup sprint handicap and the Richard Fahey charge must be considered closely taking this drop into claiming company. UNLIMITED gets the nod, however, with C&D form already in the book. The Tony Carroll representative was a beaten favourite under similar circumstances earlier this month but gave plenty of ground away at the start when slowly away from the stalls and is worthy of another chance. Benandonner, who was fourth at Ascot on Friday, looks the pick of the remainder.

Many taking a considerable drop in class in division two of the claimer and while Pravda Street is likely to make the frame having contested a hot Doncaster handicap earlier this month, slight preference is for LOVELACE. The Richard Fahey charge has amassed more than 160,000 pounds in total prize money in what has proven a successful career and on a return to the all-weather surface, the former Listed Spring Trophy Stakes victor is taken to reproduce something like his best form. Flowing Cape makes most appeal of the others.

Graham Gibbons seems to get a good tune out of ELIJAH PEPPER and the son of Crafty Prospector appears dangerously well treated off a mark of 74 on his return to the all-weather surface. The three-times course winner was held by just half a length when last sighted in this sphere off a 2lb higher mark and this looks his chance to regain the winning trend. Hill Tribe is another to take seriously while Dream Of Fortune represents good each-way value at the forecast prices.

Istiqdaam bids to land the hat-trick and while winning course form is an obvious positive, the Mick Easterby charge must defy the burden of top weight and, for that reason, BARISTA is preferred. A lack of winning form on the all-weather is a slight concern but the three-year-old has shown enough recently (second off a similar mark at Carlisle on soft ground) to suggest he can get serious. Moheebb and Carcinetto in particular makes most appeal of the others.

One Of Twins shaped as though this step up in trip would be ideal when he appeared to get outpaced over 7f here recently. The Mick Easterby charge is worthy of close consideration but preference is for LIKE A BOY. The three-year-old son of Medicean is set to relish a return to the all-weather off this 2lb lower mark having shaped as though his maiden tag could soon be a thing of the past. Diamond Sunrise is another with claims.

In an open affair, it might pay to side with PERTEMPS NETWORKS, who showed a welcome return to form last month when second over this C&D. He seems to come good at this time of year, landing a double last autumn, and could still be well weighted on that form. Passion Play looks to have plenty of weight on his handicap debut following his maiden success over this trip at Kempton but should be open to further improvement after just three starts, while Manshoor and Maher (was also entered to run at Wolverhampton on Friday evening) both went close last time and should be in the shake-up.
