TOOLATETODELEGATE was narrowly denied over this course and distance last time when only a neck behind the prolific Lydiate Lady and the track-and-trip expert can gain some compensation here from just 1lb higher. Something Lucky knocked on the door at Southwell last time and is another to consider, with more surely to come on just his second start for Mick Appleby. Gorgeous and Fikhaar are others who need respect.

A drop back to 6f could see JACK BLANE much more competitive here, racing off the same mark as last time when finishing fifth. He can get the better of Archie Watson's track-and-trip winner Zenovia who hasn't been disgraced since he last scored, while the versatile Sir Harry Collins has threatened to hit the frame of late and has to be respected for notable all-weather handler Mick Appleby.

Yorkshire handlers hold a strong hand here, with Richard Fahey's Scotch Myst and David O'Meara's Captain Bond both sure to be popular. However, preference is for TALLY'S SONG, who arguably produced a career best when third here last time and she potentially has more to come. C&D winner Ambitious Boy's mark continues to fall and he could surprise at a price.

STAMP DUTY has knocked on the door here over C&D the last twice and must go close once again here racing off the same mark. Hellavashock sports a visor for the first-time and has to be respected, while new headgear is also tried on D'waterside, who has the assistance of blinkers. Satchville Flyer completes the shortlist and he is of serious interest off a mark some 19lb lower than his turf rating.

Faye McManoman got a great tune out of COOKIE RING when the pair teamed up at Kempton 13 days ago for his first success since February 2016 and a 2lb rise in the weights has been negated with his rider able to use her full claim here. Boketto ran with more promise on her first outing for Derek Shaw and shaped as though she would improve for an extra furlong, while Sunshineandbubbles has solid each-way claims on recent efforts at the track.

MANSFIELD was well backed before his last run at Lingfield where he was a fast-finishing second to Dutiful Son and, racing off the same mark here, he could claim only the second victory of his career. Grey Destiny is 4lb higher than his recent success over C&D and should make his mark once again, while Butoolat is an interesting contender on her first outing for Keith Dalgliesh and she arrives in solid enough form.

INAAM struggled when last seen in the summer but has dropped back down to his last winning mark of 79 and the 136-day break may just have done him the world of good. Lagenda improved back on the all-weather at Chelmsford last time and is capable of going close once again, while others to consider include Mr Christopher and Ballymore Castle.

Bernard Llewellyn is having his best season for some time and KAISAN has been performing with consistency on his recent starts which warrants him getting the vote here. Dibloam looked a non-stayer in a Lingfield handicap over 2m last time but is expected to land a blow back down in distance here, while Iley Boy can bounce back after a below-par effort last time.
