La Pampita is becoming expensive to follow and although she has solid form claims, it might be worth taking her on with TY GWR. He has been running over further but the drop to this trip could suit and there could still be a little improvement to come from him. Arabic finished runner-up in handicap company here last week and it would be no surprise to see him play a leading role. Shore Performer has place claims.

Kathleensluckylad must be respected in his bid to complete a hat-trick and High Resolution is respected despite a 7lb rise for his Ayr success last week. Pearl War is also considered along with Chatterati and Tenessee but in an open contest, a tentative verdict goes to TIGER WEBB. He looked a shade unlucky when third over this C&D last time and might now be ready to capitalise on his attractive handicap mark.

Fishforcompliments has been performing with credit over 7f here of late and is respected but he has never been this far before. Carrie's Magic (engaged to run here last night) is another with stamina concerns but she could be in the mix if she stays. Confidence behind Tapis Libre would make him of interest and Celtic Step is a likely player but SON VIDA gets the verdict. He has dropped 13lb in the weights since joining Alan Bailey and he can certainly get competitive off this mark if putting his best foot forward.

Mutual Regard showed some promise over shorter trips last year and given his connections, he is sure to prove popular now stepping up in trip on his handicap debut. Annelko, Langley and Schmooze are all respected and If You Whisper could surprise but UNEX RENOIR gets the nod. He dropped 23lb in just six runs for Michael Attwater earlier this year, but as a result, he looks nicely handicapped now having his first run for Brian Ellison.

There isn't much to split GAELIC WIZARD and Levi Draper on official figures but the selection is the least exposed of the pair and is taken to open his account at the fifth attempt after rattling the crossbar over C&D on his first start on polytrack, latest. The last-named has performed to a consistent level since being fitted with a hood and is expected to emerge as the main threat with Art Form, who needs to bounce back from a lamentable display on fibresand, another to consider now moving onto this faster surface.

JULIUS GEEZER lowered the colours of the classy Prodigality when landing a class 4 handicap at York in July and would take the world of beating in claiming grade tonight if capable of recapturing that sort of form. Tom Dascombe's representative does, however, arrive on the back of several subsequently disappointing runs, and looks far from certain to produce his best. Clubland landed a C&D seller latest but was slightly disappointing in a handicap here on Thursday, while five-time course winner Red Cape must be respected.

BLUE ZEALOT is making only his third start for Anthony Honeyball and is presumably a potential hurdles prospect in the longer term. He remains a ten-race maiden on the Flat, but has been campaigned over middle-distances to date and might be capable of improving upon those efforts now granted a sufficient test of stamina. Up 4lb for her 1m4f victory at Southwell earlier in the month, Smart Affair merits shortlist inclusion too, along with fellow three-year-old Pugnacious, both of whom should be dangerous in receipt of their weight-for-age allowances.

STYLISTICKHILL has failed to make much of an impression on turf lately but appears to reserve her best for polytrack. She was backed into favouritism when second over track and trip on her last start in this sphere last December and, fit from her subsequent turf exploits, is expected to mount another bold bid off 1lb higher. Charlcot has been repeatedly outpaced over 7f this year and is a potential improver now granted this stiffer test. Brian Meehan's handicap debutant Roger Ramjet and recent Beverley second Giorgio's Dragon appeal most of the remainder.
