HIGH ROAD did not show a great deal over hurdles and he fell on his chasing/handicap debut at Newton Abbot last month but the chances are we have not seen the best of him just yet and a mark of 75 could be well within his capabilities. Dot Or Feather ran well on his first run for his new yard at Uttoxeter on Sunday and that form gives him claims while Daneva could also be in the shake-up.

ANOTHER TRUMP has been struggling so far this year but he has dropped to an attractive handicap mark as a consequence. He would prefer a stiffer test ideally but he could still get involved here if putting his best foot forward. Pumboo has claims on the form of his Uttoxeter second last month and Huntingdon winner Guns Of Love is also worthy of a place on the shortlist. Bennys Quest has place prospects.

Carrying a penalty to victory in bumpers is never easy but BRASSICK might be up to the task here. He ran out an impressive winner of a Wetherby bumper on debut back in March and that sets a decent standard. There are plenty of interesting newcomers in opposition, however, and any confidence behind Father Jack, Hare In A Round or Nice To Have would be a big positive. Bob Tucker is also worth a second look.

The veteran Rash Moment is fairly handicapped and he finished runner-up over fences at Fontwell last week so he must be respected back over hurdles here. Kenaleck has struggled badly since joining Tim Vaughan but he is of interest here, particularly if there is confidence behind him. It might be worth taking a chance on KING ROCKY, however. He has finished well beaten on two runs this year but should strip fitter now and his best form from two years ago would give him a squeak in this company.

God Of The Kop was well beaten in a Punchestown bumper when last seen but he had looked a useful performer in the making in two runs prior to that and is respected making his hurdling debut. Nataani was in terrific form over fences earlier this year and he can make his presence felt back over timber but MR MOSS gets the tentative vote. He won twice over fences last season and there could be much more improvement to come from him this term.

BARRAKILLA, a point-to-point winner in February 2011, found only the useful Population too good on his NH debut in an Ascot bumper last year and he can give a good account on his hurdling debut here. He will probably appreciate a stiffer test but the same can be said for the majority of these. The Jonjo O'Neill trio, Foundation Man, Chosen Dream and Music Pick all command the utmost respect and Thomas Crapper is also considered.

The Lemonpie is progressive and he is 2lb 'well in' here despite a 7lb penalty for his Newton Abbot success last week so has obvious claims. However, the one to beat is PROMPTER. He has been raised 15lb for his facile Bangor victory last week so his 7lb penalty leaves him with 8lb to play with if his new mark is correct. There is probably plenty more to come from him, too. Marie Des Anges has place claims.
