David Pipe Stable Tour

Form profile

Runner-up in both his bumpers at Worcester in June and July and off the mark over hurdles at Chepstow (2m) last Wednesday when beating Libberty Hunter a length.

Trainer says

He ran well in a couple of bumpers in the summer and then had a holiday. He came back and put up a nice performance at Chepstow last week where he made all and battled on well. He is another who will want further.

Form profile

118-rated hurdler. Last seen out when finishing runner-up, beaten eight lengths, to Smurphy Enki in a novices’ hurdle at Plumpton (2m 4 ½f) in March 2021.

Trainer says

He has been off the track a long while but is entered at Cheltenham this weekend. He is a nice horse who works well and, hopefully, he will stay in one piece and win this season.

Form profile

125-rated hurdler. Finished last of seven, beaten 40 lengths, to Herbiers in a handicap hurdle at Newbury (2m ½f) last Thursday.

Trainer says

He had his first run at Newbury the other day and got a little bit tired. He will improve for the run and the handicapper probably needs to come down a few pounds. When he does, I am sure he will be winning.

Form profile

115-rated hurdler. Finished fourth, beaten nine and a half lengths, to The Changing Man off a mark of 116 at Ffos Las (2m 4f) in October.

Trainer says

He is a good work horse at home but a little frustrating on the track. I thought he ran well at Ffos Las recently and hopefully he can build on that.

Form profile

104-rated hurdler. Finished fourth, beaten eight and a half lengths, to Getalead in a handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot (2m 5 1/2f) in September off his current mark.

Trainer says

He will be out again and he has a bit of ability but has been frustrating but hopefully will get his head in front soon.

Form profile

139-rated chaser and hurdler. Finished fifth, beaten 25 lengths, to stablemate Remastered in a Pertempts Qualifier handicap hurdle at Aintree (3m ½f) on Saturday.

Trainer says

He finished fifth over hurdles at Aintree on Saturday and that was a prep run for the Coral Cup at Newbury. I think he is a better chaser than hurdler and, hopefully, he can run well at Newbury.

Form profile

118-rated hurdler. Gained his last success at Ffos Las (3m) in April when beating Raddon Top two lengths off a mark of 113.

Trainer says

We will look to go chasing with him this season. He is a good work horse at home and hopefully there is more to come from him.

Form profile

119-rated hurdler. Came closest to victory this season when third, beaten a length and a quarter, to Dalkingstown in a handicap hurdle at Worcester (2m 7f) in June off a mark of 119.

Trainer says

He is a two and a half/three mile hurdler who doesn’t want it too soft but has a good attitude and should be up to winning again soon.

Form profile

Runner-up, beaten two lengths, to Act Of Authority in a point-to-point in Ireland in March.

Trainer says

He was second on his only run in an Irish point-to-point. He will probably start over hurdles. He is a by Jet Away who is a very good sire and we are looking forward to getting him started.

Form profile

110-rated chaser. Finished third, beaten 15 lengths, to Jamacho on his debut for the stable at Uttoxeter (2m) in October off a mark of 112.

Trainer says

He has had a wind operation and he ran well on his first race for us at Uttoxeter the other day. I look forward to getting out soon again on some softer ground.

Form profile

117-rated hurdler. Finished third, beaten 25 lengths, to Branson Missouri in a handicap hurdle at Worcester (2m 4f) last week off a mark of 118.

Trainer says

He did well last season and ran a nice first race at Worcester the other day. He can build on that.

Form profile

Winner of his bumper at Newton Abbot in July when beating Masked Matgil half a length. Made a successful debut over hurdles at Newbury (2m ½f) last Thursday when scoring by five and a half lengths from Doublethetrouble.

Trainer says

He had one bumper run for us in the summer and had a holiday and then he came back at Newbury the other day and won. He has a good attitude and has done his winning at two miles but I am sure he will improve for a step up in trip and a bit softer ground. We will look for another novice hurdle for him somewhere.

Form profile

Made winning stable debut in a novice hurdle at Aintree (2m 4f) on Saturday when beating Grey Dawning a length and a quarter.

Trainer says

He put up a lovely performance at Aintree on Saturday and it was a hot race. Hopefully, he is a horse to follow.

Form profile

Winner of his point-to-point in Ireland in May at the fourth attempt.

Trainer says

He is another Irish point-to-pointer who won his last race. He is another who will start over hurdles soon.

Form profile

124-rated hurdler. Scored by five and a half lengths from Midnight Ginger in a handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (2m 4f) in May off a mark of 117 when last seen out.

Trainer says

He will be running in a couple of months’ time but is just getting the hang of it and he will win more races.

Form profile

128-rated chaser. Finished fifth, beaten nine lengths, to Masters Legacy in a handicap chase at Exeter (3m) on Friday off his current mark.

Trainer says

He ran well at Exeter the other day and will probably improve for it. He jumped well and hopefully he can find races over fences.

Form profile

115-rated hurdler. Made winning debut for the stable when beating Fat Sam four and a quarter lengths in a novices’ hurdle at Worcester (2m 4f) in July.

Trainer says

Oceanline won first time out and was a little bit disappointing the second time but we will give him a break and hopefully he will bounce back.

Form profile

125-rated hurdler. Finished seventh, beaten 23 lengths, to Shoot First in a handicap hurdle at Cheltenham (3m) in October off her current mark.

Trainer says

She ran first time out over hurdles at Cheltenham and ran a lot better than her finishing position would suggest. She is going to go novice chasing now and she has schooled well at home. I think she could do well over fences this season.

Form profile

122-rated hurdler. Finished third, beaten seven and a half lengths, to Phantom Getaway in a handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (3m) on Sunday.

Trainer says

He ran at Ffos Las on Sunday and he has been a super horse for his owners. He may be a bit in the grip of the handicapper a little bit but if he is dropped a few pounds, he will be winning again.

Form profile

115-rated hurdler and rated 95 on the Flat. Finished fifth, beaten six lengths, to Nayati in a handicap hurdle at Perth (2m) in September off a mark of 117 when trained by Gordon Elliot.

Trainer says

He hasn’t run for us yet and came to us from Gordon Elliott’s. He was decent on the Flat for Keith Dalgleish and hasn’t been the most natural over hurdles so we are doing a lot of work with his jumping.

Form profile

130-rated chaser. Gained his last success when beating Vision Des Flos three and a half lengths in a handicap chase at Exeter (3m) in October off a mark of 128. Finished fifth, beaten 26 lengths, to Frodon in the Grade 3 Badger Beer Handicap Chase at Wincanton (3m 1f) on Saturday off a mark of 132.

Trainer says

He ran well when finishing fifth in the Badger Beer. He has a good summer and he will continue to run through the winter. He is a decent three-mile handicap chaser and is still a novice over hurdles so he may go back over hurdles at some point.

Form profile

142-rated chaser and 132-rated hurdler. Easy four length winner from Milan Bridge in a Pertemps Qualifier at Aintree on Saturday. Finished fourth, beaten 10½ lengths, to Royale Pagialle in the Grade 2 Peter Marsh Handicap Chase at Haydock (3m 1 ½f) off a mark of 146 when last seen over fences.

Trainer says

It was a lovely performance at Aintree on Saturday and it was a prep run for the Coral Handicap Chase at Newbury which was the same for him as last year. The wind operation has helped him during the summer and we just need some rain at Newbury and then he could have a great chance at Newbury.

Form profile

132-rated chaser and 127-rated hurdler. Made a winning return to action when beating Gentleman Valley three and a quarter lengths in a handicap hurdle at Worcester (2m 7f) in October off a mark of 122.

Trainer says

He had a good season last year and won first time over hurdles at Worcester the other day. He had a wind operation during the summer and he could go to Cheltenham for a three-mile handicap hurdle.

Form profile

153-rated chaser and 143-rated hurdler. Made a successful debut for the stable when beating Maughold Head 18 lengths in a novices’ hurdle at Ayr (2m) in October.

Trainer says

He is a very good horse who was with Jessica Harrington and he won his novice hurdle for us at Ayr. The plan is to go to Cheltenham for the two-mile conditionals race on the Sunday. He would want a lot of rain first as he loves soft ground.

Form profile

Winner of her bumper at Newton Abbot in June and finished fifth, beaten 27 lengths, to Park This One on her hurdling bow at Uttoxeter (2m 4f) in October.

Trainer says

She won her bumper nicely but was a little bit disappointing on her first run over hurdles. She will bounce back and is a lovely mare with a good attitude.

Form profile

Made a winning start for stable when beating Galassian four lengths in a maiden hurdle at Worcester (2m 7f) in October.

Trainer says

He won first time out at Worcester and he is a stayer who probably doesn’t want the ground too soft.

Form profile

144-rated chaser and 136-rated hurdler. Returned to winning form in a handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot (3m 2½f) in October when scoring by a neck from Valentino off a mark of 133.

Trainer says

He has had a couple of runs this season and won over hurdles at Newton Abbot. He is entered in the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham on Saturday and if the ground is ok, he could go there. Hopefully, he would have a live chance.
