Harry Eustace is well on the way to beating his personal best of 24 winners from last year in only his third season with a trainer’s licence and his 17 successes so far have netted him prize money of £286,640 which is only a stone's throw away from the £319,396 he picked up in 2022.
The leading light for the Newmarket trainer has been Docklands who completed a hat-trick when beating New Endeavour by half a length in the Britannia Handicap at Royal Ascot and has added a healthy £79,631 to the season’s tally.
Payment In Kind is looking to break his maiden tag at Wolverhampton after picking up £27,631 in two placed efforts, including a third in the Super Sprint at Newbury and Eustace has obviously been putting his ticks in the right boxes.
Harry said: “Like everyone, we would love more winners, but we have had some good winners at good tracks. We will just try and keep on progressing and hope we can find more success.”
James kindly talked to Tony Elves of attheraces.com about his team at Park Lodge Stables.
