Chantilly Horse Racing Tips

LORD CLOVER (1) proved his ability when finishing second in the Group 3 Prix de Guiche in May and his unplaced comeback run should be overlooked. He will be fitter this time and looks the runner to beat. HELLO JO (2) is another who is dropping in class and will be better suited to this shorter distance. MIJAS (3) should run well again with Christophe Soumillon in the irons while NO TURNING BACK (5) is not out of the reckoning if all goes well.

MARCH MADNESS (3) performed well enough in her first two starts in Maiden company and could the one to beat dropping into a Claimer. ARIA FRESCA (4) fits a similar profile after her performances in the Maidens and should enjoy racing on the sand. LA GALOPAZ (7) was strong last time but should benefit from the services of Cristian Demuro. BODY PHYSICAL (8) could run well off a light weight.

There was a lot to like about the manner in which SHABAZI (4) won her maiden last time and looks the one to beat now dropping to a Claimer. LAUGH IS ENOUGH (2) has run well in all her races and although yet to win, should be competitive at this level. IT'S ONLY LOVE (6) is lightly raced and continues to progress, while PINK PALACE (5) could show more now trained by Christophe Escuder.

STRATOVULCANO (1) performed with aplomb when trying the sand for the first time and coupled with his good recent form, he looks ready to pick up his first win. Stable companion THE TINKER (4) is another who is proven on the surface and will return to the sand brimming with confidence. STARRY SKY (5) is in good form and from No 1 draw it could all come down to how he takes to the surface. DANCE DE LUNE (6) has a lot going for her so can give the males a run for their money.

Runner-up in last year's Prix de l'Abbaye de Longchamp (Gr.1), JAWWAL (1) has a golden opportunity to return to winning ways. He will need to be wary of the younger VALASARA (8), who showed plenty of speed last season. VICIOUS HARRY (4) is fresh and certainly capable of challenging for victory, while TALES OF THE HEART (7) is another to consider.

GARIYANN (5) was an authoritative winner last time and should be capable of continuing his progress. INMATE (7) has enjoyed an excellent summer and should go a long way on this course. He may be able to hold off the late challenge of BLOWN BY THE WIND (9), who finished strongly at Clairefontaine. GIUSEPPE BALLOCCO (2) was very courageous at Deauville and also has claims.

HYPERCORE (1) is in his element on the Chantilly all-weather track and looks a very solid choice for this Pick 5 despite his wide draw. POSCHIAVO (2) was far from disgraced in the Grand Handicap de Deauville and should be competitive again. BATAL YOUMZAIN (4) is entitled to improve for his recent comeback, while CELESTIAL (6), capable of very good things when in the mood.

Connections are taking a chance by dropping LADY MADELEINE (4) sharply in trip, with the aim of finally turning her string of runner-up finishes into a win. ALMAROMY (3) finished strongly on the all-weather track on August 27th and should play a leading role once again. MARQUES (7) ran better than his finishing position suggests last time and could have more to offer, while POLNOR (9) should not be written off after a single below-par effort in an interesting lucky last race.
