Enzo hit 10/1 & 4/1 winners last week, and has a Yankee for Saturday's action at Sandown & Ripon - the latter live on Sky Sports Racing.

The end is nigh for the National Hunt season and without the Willie Mullins mass invasion the Sandown card does lack rather in numbers and quality.

The feature race (3.30) in particular doesn't look the strongest of renewals with Havaila heading the market on the back of victories at Newbury and Plumpton. Despite his trainers having a very solid record at Sandown for this jumps season I will try and take him on at the prices. Willie Mullins has only one runner in the big handicap chase as opposed to his mass attacks of previous years when he was gunning for the jumps trainers' title but I will still put up his charge ROAD TO HOME here. The 7yo ran well at Cheltenham last time when just denied by Ask Brewster in the Kim Muir and I think the son of Gamut can reverse that form here if he handles the ground today.

I was at Chepstow on Grand National day when COSMIC CONNECTION barely broke sweat to win what looked a competitive handicap hurdle. This will obviously be a much tougher task off 12 stone but he looked like a horse on an upward curve who could land a few nice races in time. Chris Gordon's novice has won two of his three races under rules -his only defeat coming against the classy Hurricane Pat two runs ago. We get Sam Twiston-Davies on board which is a huge positive and he can land the Novices' Championship Final at 1.45.

The Ripon action is live on Sky Sports Racing this Saturday afternoon and I am keen on Michael Bell's runner DANCINGWITHMYSELF in the feature 1m4f handicap (3.35). The grey mare made a pleasing return to action at Musselburgh three weeks ago when finding only Team Player too strong in the Queen's Cup at the Edinburgh venue. She should take a step forward from that and she won a decent handicap at Goodwood last autumn. Luke Morris' mount can make the most of the weight she receives from Prydwen and Stressfree this afternoon.

Later on the Ripon card the mile handicap at 4.45 looks open but I will go with Nigel Tinkler's runner AMIDST THE CHAOS is the one I want on my side. I think the son of Ghaiyyath will come on a bundle for his seasonal bow at Thirsk and had some decent winning form at Doncaster and Musselburgh last season. Promising young apprentice Ethan Tindall rides and takes five pounds off his back and we have a decent draw to operate from in stall four.

It’s not only the end of the jumps season today but sadly also the end of the Multiples column . Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to interact and read the page over the last two years.
