Verdict
FORTUNEFAVORSDBOLD bounced back from a fall to finish second at Leicester last month. The winner of that contest has gone in again twice since, which makes Christian Williams' mare of considerable interest here off just a 2lb higher mark. Only Gossip's last couple of efforts suggest that she could make the frame in a race of this nature and her stablemate Sweet Nightingale is another to consider.
Expert View Verdict
FORTUNEFAVORSDBOLD has become frustrating but she is taken to snap her losing run here. She arrives in good form but is still 12lb below her last winning mark and her jockey booking suggests another big run is expected. Ostrava Du Berlais is another with a poor strike rate and her form has tailed off this year. However she was unsuited by a change of tactics last time and the handicapper continues to relent. This longer trip could see her revived and challenging alongside the consistent Seasmoke who will appreciate the better ground. She's open to further improvement in first time cheekpieces following a wind op.
