Verdict
DIXIE COWBOY put a couple of moderate efforts behind him to fill the runner-up spot at Market Rasen and with the seven-year-old having much less to prove than a few of these, a similar level of performance could suffice. Although Myfavouritesister and Beep Beep Becky are both yet to tackle a fence, they probably wouldn't need to find stacks of improvement. Natural Ability has struggled of late, but is now 6lb below his previous winning mark.
Expert View Verdict
This can be fought out by some course specialists. Narrow preference is for NATURAL ABILITY who has had valid excuses on all of his starts so far this term but finally gets his optimum conditions. He's now 6lb below his last winning mark so is chosen to defeat Dixie Cowboy who has held his form over the winter since making a successful chasing debut over C&D. He responded well to positive tactics last time and could get an easy lead in this line up. Clean Getaway hasn't won in a while but he proved he retained his ability over hurdles in the autumn so can't be ruled out in favourable conditions.
