Verdict
None of these arrive at the absolute top of their game so the vote goes to JUKEBOX KING, who made a pleasing start to his handicap career at Warwick and can build on that fourth-placing. Matthias is the one making his handicap bow now and the pick of his form, especially a second to Quebecois in an Exeter bumper, would put him high up on the shortlist. Calme Olympien and Geezer Rockstar were well beaten by the same horse at Newbury and Kempton respectively, but this shouldn't be as competitive.
Expert View Verdict
A couple of potential improvers in here namely JUKEBOX KING and Matthias. The selection won his only start in points and has shown distinct promise in three qualifying runs including when beaten just over 4l at Warwick last time. An opening mark of 109 seems reasonable. Matthias is expected to be suited by the step back up in trip and can emerge as the danger on handicap debut although Geezer Rockstar is on a compeititve mark if having one of his good days and the ground is in his favour.
