TEGAN is thriving at present and built upon her Windsor victory when returned to this trip at Kempton last time. Richard Hannon's filly is turned out under a penalty and could feasibly complete the four-timer if reproducing that form at this left-handed venue. Ishikawa has edged up 1lb for his recent Chepstow second and merits consideration along with Dolly Colman, who has been raised 2lb for finishing runner-up over C&D last month.

Empress Charlotte was noted as putting in her best work in the closing stages when scoring at Yarmouth last time and is well worth a try over this longer trip off a 3lb higher mark. James Fanshawe's Flaming Nora may be capable of better on her handicap debut now fitted with a first-time visor but of more interest is OUT OF THE STORM, who is reunited with Kieren Fallon, her partner when scoring over C&D off 6lb lower last month.

Olney Lass broke her maiden over 7f here in July and shaped as if a return to 1m would suit when a staying on second at Folkestone when last sighted. Nevertheless, it might be worth chancing that ANNES ROCKET can hold her form over this extra furlong. Jimmy Fox's charge has developed a fine understanding with Thomas Brown over 7f of late and looks weighted to go close. C&D winner Inquisitress is another to consider.

STORMING BERNARD sets the form standard based upon his runner-up efforts in a York maiden and Newmarket handicap the last twice and looks to have been found a suitable opportunity by trainer Alan Bailey to gain a deserved success. Pitt Rivers is rarely far away and looks to have his usual place possibilities though he's rated 12lb inferior to the selection on official figures. Strident Force, fifth on debut at Ascot, is feared most.

Several course specialists are turned out once again and the likes of Highland Harvest, 5lb higher than when second to Clear Ice over 5f here last month, and Mandhooma, 1lb higher than when second to Cheylesmore over C&D in July, warrant serious consideration. Nevertheless, John Dunlop's three-year-old HIGH ON THE HOG is open to more improvement than both and looks the one to be on now turned out under a penalty.

The market should prove key in identifying who is believed to be well handicapped. Heavenly Pursuit was fourth over C&D off 4lb higher in June and would go close if reproducing that effort while Bambika has only had one start in handicaps and may have better to offer. Nevertheless, the vote goes to TALKATIVE GUEST, who hinted this drop in trip would suit when weakening in the closing stages over 1m at Yarmouth last month.

Grandmas Dream usually gives her running and is rarely far away but she struggles to get her head in front so INTERAKT looks the one to be on. Joseph Tuite's charge scored over C&D on soft ground last month and his form this year has a very likeable look to it with three wins noted from his last five outings. There may be more to come under a penalty and he is preferred ahead of Richard Hannon's improving three-year-old, Jahanara.
