BEAU DUKE left his Newbury debut performance well behind when fifth over an extended 6f at Salisbury 22 days ago and, likely to improve further for this step up in trip, he could make it third time lucky. Lone Foot Laddie was less than 2-lengths behind the selection that day (finishing seventh) and warrants respect while Stereotypical, a racecourse debutant representing the stable who won this race two years ago, cannot be ruled out.
Beau Duke sets just a fair standard, and is no certainty to confirm Salisbury form with Lone Foot Laddie, so a chance is taken on newcomer Stereotypical, who represents a yard with a good record here.

NOVABRIDGE could deliver the goods here. He is two from two in this company and produced his best effort for some time when third over 6f at Folkestone most recently. Could It Be Magic comes out top on official ratings and should be in the shake-up but, yet to strike in 23 starts, he's difficult to promote as the likely winner while Barista wouldn't be without a chance if putting his best foot forward.
Hard to get excited by this bunch, but Could It Be Magic is more reliable than most, and this looks a good chance for him to finally get off the mark. Mister Ben Vereen is the tentative runner-up pick.

LUCKY MEADOWS is fancied to land the spoils on her handicap debut today. She stepped up on a couple of solid third placed efforts when landing her maiden over 7f at Lingfield in March and an opening mark of 72 looks fair. Swift Breeze wasn't disgraced on her seasonal reappearance at Kempton 18 days ago and is entitled to strip fitter now while Yarmouth winner Mrs Greeley is another who cannot be left out of calculations.

Full Shilling arrives here in sparkling form and looks worthy of a place on any shortlist, but COLOURBEARER could have her measure.
