Brick Rising showed some minor improvement when sixth at Goodwood last time but the form standard set is far from insurmountable and preference is instead for ENTRAPPING. Richard Hannon's charge overcame a tardy start to finish his race off well on his debut at Kempton (third) last time and is expected to improve with the benefit of that outing now under his belt. Newcomer Rock Diamond merits a market check in an open-looking heat.

CROESO MAWR looks to have an obvious chance in view of her 12-length romp over track and trip last month. John Spearing's mare is turned out under a penalty and, 5lb well-in as a consequence, should take the world of beating with the forecast soft ground known to suit. Hat-trick seeker Meglio Ancora needs to demonstrate his effectiveness on this slower surface so Camrock Star and Authoritarian may be bigger dangers.

CLUMBER PLACE looks to have dropped to a good mark at present judging by her short-head second over this trip on soft ground at Newcastle last month. James Given's mare encounters similar conditions this afternoon and another bold bid looks in the offing. Rafella landed the silver medal on heavy ground over C&D latest and heads the list of possible dangers from the three-year-old Marah Music and track and trip winner Set To Go.

BASHAMA advertised her well-being when second over track and trip latest and wouldn't need to find much improvement to defy a 1lb rise and go one better. Olney Lass is dropping back towards her last winning mark and can battle it out for the minor money with the generally consistent pair of Red Avalanche and Chandrayaan, although the latter has produced his best form on polytrack and needs to prove his effectiveness on the ground.

OFFBEAT SAFARIS failed to see out his race over 1m2f here last month and is expected to improve for this drop in distance considering his best run of the year came when second over this trip at Epsom in July. Barista has a little to find with the selection on official figures but boasts winning C&D form and looks the main danger ahead of Kashmiri Star, whose victory in a Brighton handicap last month came over 6f.

TWO TURTLE DOVES has been a pillar of consistency this season and advertised her well-being with a creditable Warwick second over this trip last month. Michael Mullineaux's representative is evidently feasibly handicapped based on that effort and, with the benefit of a previous course win to her name, shades the vote ahead of George Fenton, Botanist and penalised Ffos Las scorer Greyemkay.

Copper Falls justified her short price when scoring in Jersey latest but he'll need to improve to follow up under a penalty back on these shores. Preference, therefore, is for FIRST REBELLION, who boasts previous C&D-winning form and hinted the drop back to this trip would suit when fourth over 6f at Warwick latest. Penalised Ffos Las scorer Spic 'n Span makes most appeal of the remainder.

Pandorica's last two victories have come over 1m2f and with her last-time-out course win coming in selling grade, she'll need to improve to follow up back in a handicap over this longer trip. April Ciel has been knocking on the door of late and is respected on the back of a solid Bath second, but preferred ahead of both is PEACHEZ, who was denied by just a head off 3lb lower over 1m5f at Bath latest and could improve for this drop in trip.
