Irish raider QUEEN GRACE has been raised 8lb for a successful raid on Musselburgh last month but should remain competitive whilst talented Irish apprentice Shane Gray remains in the saddle. Whozthecat is capable of getting involved if putting his best foot forward but a bigger danger may be Diman Waters, who landed a 0-90 handicap off 3lb lower at Ayr earlier in the season and would be a live player if the ground came up on the fast side. Courageous has slipped to a good mark and completes the shortlist.

The second division of the sprint handicap can go the way of SUNNY SIDE UP, who has struck up a good understanding with today's rider and made it 3-3 when partnered together by scoring at Newmarket latest. Richard Fahey's representative is 3lb higher than the latest of those victories but continues on an upward curve and should mount another bold bid. Lost In Paris is very inconsistent but on a fair mark if having one of his good days. Triple Dream and Rylee Mooch make most appeal of the remainder.

SKY GARDEN failed to rip up any trees when third of five on debut at Windsor but is entitled to improve upon that effort with the benefit of a run now behind her. William Haggas' daughter of Acclamation is a half-sister to Pattern-winning sprint juvenile Enticing so therefore makes strong appeal on breeding. Bell'arte took a keen hold over 7f on debut at Newcastle and could improve for the switch to sprinting, while Layla's Oasis and Valais Girl are respected on the back of a solid debut efforts last month. Newcomers Red Turban, Roanne and Mystery Bet all merit market checks.

The progressive WILLBEME looks to have leading claims since he has looked on an upward curve this year and scored with plenty in hand over C&D when last sighted. He is up 8lb and taking on classier opposition in this stronger race, but doesn't have many miles on the clock and there should be more to come. Escape To Glory and Julius Geezer are hard to win with but have claims if at their best, while Pea Shooter has been the subject of several failed gambles this term but cannot be ruled out on the back of a freak incident (unseated rider) at Thirsk latest.

Chiswick Bey's last-time-out victory over track and trip confirmed his effectiveness under today's conditions and another bold bid looks assured, even in the face of a 4lb rise. Preference, however, is for MON BRAV, who has slipped 3lb lower than his last winning mark and looks a serious player at 0-85 level considering he was placed in a 0-105 sprint at Nottingham as recently as June. Penalised Catterick scorer Rusty Rocket may ideally prefer slower ground while My Kingdom looks one to interest placepot punters.

PRUSSIAN has held her form together reasonably well this year and revealed herself to be well handicapped when denied by just a head off this mark at Sandown last week. Mark Johnston's charge is due to be raised 6lb when her revised rating comes into play and makes strong appeal now eased in grade. Boogie Shoes is very quirky but may improve now upped in trip while Angel Gabrial, who has been raised 3lb for a narrow Newmarket victory latest, is also considered.

Zacynthus has improved since joining Luca Cumani this term and came close to following up his Yarmouth victory with a narrow defeat at Newmarket latest. However, off 2lb higher, improvement is needed and marginal preference is for NASRI, who has dropped 2lb lower than his last winning mark and seems to have rediscovered some of his old sparkle since joining Milton Bradley. Able Master and Mr David are respected, while it is too early to write off Cape Classic, who met with trouble at Newmarket latest.

Daring Indian and Hawkeshead are closely matched on their recent C&D running and have place possibilities, along with Huff And Puff, who hinted the step up to this trip would suit when fourth over 1m4f at Newmarket latest. Preferred above all, however, is Peter Chapple-Hyam's three-year-old VENEGAZZU. He relished the step up to this trip when justifying skinny odds at Wolverhampton last month and he's only 2lb higher back on turf this afternoon. Downhiller has a lot to prove following two dismal runs this term but he's on a very good mark if able to recapture the pick of his 2009 form.
