Mr Lando struck on his hurdling debut at Tramore for Paul Deegan before transferring to Tony Carroll and he is well worth a second glance, but HANDAZAN could be the pick in receipt of weight. Rated 94 on the Flat when running in a Roscommon Listed race in July, he has joined a yard that is no stranger to producing high-quality juvenile hurdlers. Far West ran respectably at Auteuil and merits respect on his debut for Paul Nicholls.

BOYFROMNOWHERE was hugely impressive in despatching his rivals by 16 lengths and more at Uttoxeter and though he carries a penalty for that success, he could take some stopping. Ballyallia Man won a couple of chase races last spring and is interesting back over the smaller obstacles for his reappearance, while Captain Kelly made a decent fist of things at Fakenham on his hurdling bow and may relish this drop in trip.

FINGAL BAY makes his eagerly anticipated debut over fences and looks the one to beat. Philip Hobbs' charge took a Grade 1 at Newbury before just missing out at Aintree and the switch to fences could bring about even more. Poungach was well beaten by Big Buck's when last seen but there's no disgrace in that and he looks the biggest danger while Tiger O'Toole has chasing experience, but giving weight to two such high-class rivals is no easy task.

HINTERLAND may have to give plenty of weight away to some decent rivals, but he has run well off this mark in the past and could just prove a slight touch of class above his rivals here. Ubaltique won easily at Perth when last seen and may be feasibly treated, while Lemon Drop Red struggled in the Fred Winter but is 3lb lower for his return. Luggers Hall and Red Riverman are others to consider in an open heat.

Kitegen won nicely at Bangor in August but is up 6lb in a hotter contest, while Handy Andy was raised 7lb for his Newbury win in March and tends to need his first couple of return runs. Dark And Dangerous limbered up for this with a solid third on the Flat at Folkestone, but preference is for CARRIGMORNA KING, who found just one too good in Grade 3 company at Sandown in March and has been given time to recover from his subsequent fall.

Last year's Welsh National hero Le Beau Bai has to be respected on ground and at a track he evidently loves, while Victors Serenade flourished on soft ground at Ffos Las last season but has been raised a total of 20lb for that pair of successes. Lost Glory won with ease at Stratford last month and has race fitness on his side, but a chance is taken on RANGITOTO, who fell when last seen at Taunton, but had won over hurdles at this track and could be nicely treated.

The two penalised runners, Regal Encore and Until Winning, both merit respect on their reappearances, but giving weight to McLLHATTON could prove too difficult here. Paul Nicholls' runner won between the flags on his last outing in Ireland before being snapped up for 62,000 pounds and he could repay some of that investment here. Bluegrass Bid ran well at Newton Abbot last month and completes the shortlist.
