SHANALA can make the breakthrough here. The Johnny Murtagh-trained filly has been knocking on the door and wasn't beaten far when third at Navan a fortnight ago. A similar effort may be enough to get the job done now. The handicapper has her top-rated with a mark of 76, 2lb above obvious rival Noble Honour. This Siyouni filly was placed on her first three starts but disappointed after running freely on her handicap debut at the Curragh back in mid-July. Emily Estherfaye outran her odds of 200/1 when fifth at Cork last month and is another that has to come into calculations.

THEREWILLBEGLORY may be able to confirm Laytown form with Kakori. Andy Slattery's charge had her rival a length-and-three-quarters behind when the pair met on the beach six days ago. The daughter of Cotai Glory shouldn't have any issues with this step back up in trip and can get off the mark. Ready To Mingle was placed a couple of times at Dundalk last winter and is another to consider with in-form apprentice Reese Holohan taking a valuable 7lb off her back.

MARE CRISIUM appreciated the drop in distance at Navan 11 days ago and looks up to winning a race of this standard off her current mark. The Sea The Moon filly kept on well when fourth to African Affair on that occasion and remains on the same rating. Concaire also produced a fair effort to finish fourth at Navan earlier in the month and has been eased a couple of pounds since. The unexposed Sweetie Too finished strongly when fifth on her handicap debut at Galway and is likely to have more to offer.

FEMME BEAUTY comes here in fine form and may be able to complete her hat-trick. The Ghaiyyath filly made a winning start for Ger O'Leary at Newmarket last month and is only 3lb higher with Patrick McGettigan negating that penalty with his 5lb claim. Lough Leane was a convincing winner at Down Royal last time but has a 10lb hike to defy for that victory. Tramore winner A Pretty Penny is another to consider.

GUY'S GIRL may be worth a shot in this grade. The Ghaiyyath filly made up notable ground in the closing stages when sixth at Cork late last month. She has been eased 3lb since and cheekpieces could sharpen her up over this shorter trip. Reponse Finale has been running consistently well and was a solid fourth at Laytown six days ago. She looks like an obvious danger, while Chou Chou has been knocking on the door and is another who has to be included on the shortlist.

HIGHWIND has shown promise in competitive staying handicaps and looks set to strike. He did well to finish fifth at Goodwood on his latest start after being squeezed up by a couple of rivals and has been eased a pound since. Classy hurdler Zanahiyr placed on the Flat at Gowran back in April before a trip to the US. He's respected on his return to action, while top-weight Teed Up turned out three times at the Galway Festival and ran well on each occasion.

RICH BELIEF has slipped to a tempting mark on the Flat. The Make Believe gelding has run solid races in claiming hurdles on his last couple of outings and this looks like a good opportunity. Gallo Dell Cielo was an impressive winner at Tramore last month. He suffered a 10lb hike as a result and while that makes life tougher, he should be capable of another big show. Miss Gitana ran poorly at Navan last time though would be a player on her previous placed form.
