MELODIC (4) looks to have an excellent opportunity to get off the mark on her second start in France. She went close when narrowly denied over this course and distance in May and a similar performance could see her go one better. AMINACO (2) appears the main danger after a respectable third at Deauville in October. He should be ready, despite the absence. GOLDEN DISC (7) has been running consistently well in handicaps of late and deserves respect. HORS LIMITES (3) is another to consider.

HORAGE (1) has been supplemented for this contest and produced a creditable effort in a maiden at Chateaubriant late last month. Dropping in class, she looks capable of scoring. JOHNNY DRIVE (6) rates the main danger. He won two claimers during the spring and followed up with a respectable third in a handicap at Dieppe. BLACK HENGE (11) arrives on the back of a recent victory at Lyon Parilly and holds solid each-way claims. VOTRE AMI (7) scored two starts ago and appeals as the best of the rest.

DETESNOUVELLES (6) won over this track and trip late in May on her latest start in a Class 4 handicap and has solid claims of following up. RUBIS GOLD (5)has been placed on the last two runs, the latter at this track late last month and can make life difficult for the selection. MISTER BRYAN (3) could be one for the each-way enthusiasts to latch on to. YOUM IN LOVE (9) has been consistent recently and can be effective back on turf after a good third on the PSF recently.

KING HARTWOOD (12) produced a solid effort when finishing second at this track late in May and looks the one to beat in an open-looking handicap. MAGIC STARS (4) rates the main danger and should make the selection work hard for victory after a win here 15 days ago. APOLLON (7) has finished runner-up on his last two starts and holds strong each-way claims. WHILAND (8) has been running well at this venue of late and is capable of another competitive performance.

PAMELA BOUM (7) was unlucky not to strike at ParisLongchamp last time, only finding her stride near home and arguably would have gone very close with a clearer passage. She looks ready to make amends and is taken to play a leading role on her first visit to Compiegne. NOOTKA BAY (1) came within a whisker of returning to winning ways in late April and remains a major danger if building on that effort. PRINCESSE BLONDE (4) should be sharper with two runs under her belt and handles this track well. JOYCE GALESTE (15) is worth another chance on past form at this venue.

6

16:13 Compiegne (France) (Class 3) (4YO only)

KENSILVER (7) arrives in outstanding form, having finished on the podium in each of his last nine starts, a run of consistency that makes him the one to beat once again despite the depth of opposition. GRAND CHELEM (2), fitted with blinkers again as on his most recent run, looks the most likely to challenge the selection and will be keen to reverse recent form with that rival. METS LE FEU (9) is still on the up and, despite successive penalties, could get involved again. I AM PARADOU (1) concedes weight to all his rivals but shaped very well last time and remains of interest.

7

DANZICA GIRL (13) is partnered once again by in-form rider Antoine Hamelin and will attempt to defy a 3kg penalty after a solid recent winning effort. If coping with the extra burden, she remains firmly in the mix. VIOLIN (5) is another to consider, expected to be far more effective back up to 2,000m after finding the mile too sharp last time out. The form of the key reference race looks strong, with SPRING LILY (8) (second) and POLNOR (9) (winner) both arriving in excellent order and holding obvious claims once again.

ZELZARA (10) was arguably unfortunate in the Prix des Epinettes, where a lack of early pace worked against her. She remains a filly with a sharp turn and has the ability to win a race of this nature.DEUX PONTS (3) makes his handicap debut but brings strong collateral form, having beaten Must Bay on 11 April, a horse who has since landed a Quinte+ off 39. FAOLIO (11) and HENDRIXX (5) are both clearly targeted for success in this division by their connections and are expected to be strongly supported in the betting. TI AMO BELLO (8) completes the shortlist after a solid effort in a key reference race.

PARVAGE (6) shaped with plenty of promise when finishing a pleasing second in a conditions event over this course and distance last time and looks ready to gain a deserved success. PIYANGO (5) was third, just behind the selection on that occasion, and has already shown he is capable of winning off this mark. UNKNOWN TERRITORY (8) produced a tenacious display when third on his handicap debut and remains open to further progress. Stablemate GOLDEN FRIEND (9) is another who looks competitive at this level
