IGRAINE won a Leopardstown handicap last summer for Donnacha O'Brien and progressed to a mark in the low 80s on the Flat. It's a bit disappointing that she's failed to score in five outings over hurdles but did go very close here over C&D when touched off by Only Sky and again filled the runner-up spot at Tramore last month. Gentleman Joe was even better on the Flat winning a Kempton maiden for Joe Tuite and showed promise on both hurdle outings including at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting. Prince Of Verona had a number of these behind when second to Prairie Dancer on testing ground over C&D at Easter, while Mitiva is the choice of Mark Walsh from five JP McManus runners. The Thurles bumper winner is closely related to Mister Coffey.

SEE A STRIDE won a point-to-point for Brian Hamilton last year and shaped well in two hurdle outings earlier this year. The selection beat all bar favourite Heia at Fairyhouse and had Tingarran Express behind when putting up another creditable effort behind Broomfield Hall (won again since) at Naas. Heia's stablemate Nos Na Gaoithe won a Sligo bumper last summer and now switches to hurdles after competing in a couple of Listed bumpers. Kilbree Warrior enters calculations on her second to Jack In The Box over this trip at Naas, while Miranda Priestly and point-to-point winner Call Her Now are others to consider.

FANOIR is a few pounds wrong compared to official figures but has more scope for improvement than most and Charlie O'Dwyer is good value for his 7lb claim. She ran well in a bumper at last year's Galway Festival and made a pleasing reappearance behind the long odds-on Micro Manage in a Thurles maiden hurdle before scoring in good style over 2m4f at Clonmel. Kashi has gone close on a number of occasions including at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day and would probably appreciate some rain. Everlastingpromise has won three times in handicap chases but is very lightly raced since scoring in impressive fashion at Killarney nearly two years ago. He looks thrown in compared to a current chase mark of 139 but disappointed on his last two starts and hasn't shown anything like the same form over hurdles.

THE TACK ROOM cost 145,000 as a three-year-old store at the Derby Sale but has obviously not been the easiest to train. The Milan gelding made an encouraging return after a near two-year absence when placed here in a maiden hurdle (Minella Cocooner finished second) and confirmed he's on a competitive mark when finishing well to take third in a 24-runner handicap at Fairyhouse on Easter Sunday. Kells Priory won over this trip at Gowran on Thyestes Chase day and has been placed twice since including behind the progressive Macs Charm. Rock On Seamie added to three Flat wins when taking a handicap hurdle at Navan last autumn and was just denied in the final strides on his latest start at Limerick. Ballyadam Destiny stays well and is another for the shortlist.

CHIRICAHUA stayed well on the Flat for Ger Lyons winning three times and is now stepped up to three miles for the first time over hurdles. The Camelot gelding has filled the runner-up spot twice in 2m4f maiden hurdles including behind Ballykeel at Leopardstown. Eyre Square showed stamina is her strong suit when landing a 2m4f bumper at Wexford last year and the Doyen mare has also finished second a couple of times over hurdles. She may have been unsuited by the very testing ground here last time. Friends N Commerce finished well when denied by a neck at Limerick before showing he gets this trip when third to Tenzing over C&D last month. Coconut Tudor and Belles Benefit are others to note.

EMANCIPATOR was a consistent sort in three-mile handicap hurdles for Donie Hassett through the winter including when runner-up to progressive types like Where's Frankie at Fairyhouse and Wild Hunt at Clonmel. The six-year-old was well-backed when switched to fences on his first start for current connections and bolted up in a handicap at Clonmel. He remains on a lowly mark over hurdles and has solid claims. Iridescent has also been placed on a number of occasions including over a similar trip at Thurles while topweight Something Sweet and Stellar Stow, third in a division of this race last year, are others to consider. Kingsgate could be suited by this step up in trip and is one to note for market moves.

GAOTH CHUIL made a promising debut when beating all bar favourite True Light at Tramore last month and given normal improvement has strong claims to go one better here. Ted Walsh has enjoyed success with this family before including useful half-brother Dewcup. Matilda Park was far from disgraced on her first start in a valuable sales race at Fairyhouse last month and this represents a drop in class with Jody Townend a significant booking. Jamie Codd and Colin Motherway teamed up to take a bumper at Tipperary on Thursday and any market support for Slip Jig, a Flemensfirth half-sister to three winners, would be interesting.
