LADY DE VESCI has plenty to find on ratings with some of these but she's a proven performer on the surface and might gain a fifth win at this course. She comes here in good heart having won on turf for the first time two runs ago at Navan. Estepona Sun has had a spin over hurdles since easily winning a Leopardstown claimer in August and, having won a nursery here last year, has to come into calculations. Gee Rex has had a good season with a couple of victories since stepping up in trip and he has a first try on the all-weather, while Moving Forward ran well in a handicap here last month and might not be far away.

TARTLETTE has shown that she's good after a break and she can make a bold bid for a third course win. She won here last October after being off for over three months and her career-best was when just caught in a premier handicap at the Curragh in June after a seven month lay-off. She impressed with how she travelled that day and is only 1lb higher here. Paso Doble wasn't far off subsequent winner The Jam Man when third at Killarney last weekend. He'd won his previous two races and this scopey three-year-old is open to more improvement although he's unproven on the surface. Ela Katrina has won her last two starts at this track and is respected, while Psyche lost all chance at the start before staying on over a mile here last week and is stepped up half a mile in trip now.

HOT VOICE ran well in a decent contest at Naas on his third run in maidens and could be on a nice mark for his handicap debut. A winner and a couple of placed horses have come out of his last race and it was a big step forward on his first two performances. Jessica Harrington runs three and Shane Foley's presence on Baron Wild is not surprising after this one showed improvement at Limerick last weekend. Like the selection, he could be on a fair mark for his first run in a nursery. The Casino King and Flying Rock are other possible improvers starting out in handicaps, while Mass Gathering followed a win in a claimer with a good second in a Curragh nursery and he mightn't be far away again.

Seven furlongs seems to be the optimum trip for BURNING LAKE and he can build on a good run at Tipperary last month, which came after a three month break. He won a nursery over this trip at Newcastle and was runner-up twice over this course and distance in early 2019. Everyhouronthehour has won three times over a mile and he's very effective at this venue and looks a danger, along with Jackmel who's up 6lb after winning over a mile here last time and has also won here over this distance. The consistent Sestriere will surely get a turn at some stage and is likely to be thereabouts again while Manhattan Dandy showed his first bit of worthwhile form when staying on well over 6f at Fairyhouse.

TIPPERARY MOON ran very well at a big price on handicap debut here last month when not beaten far behind Helen De Pourtales over 1m. The winner's gone in again since and the runner-up was second next time as well, so the form looks solid. If he's as effective over this furlong shorter trip he can go close off a 3lb higher mark. Chagall has won a couple this year and ran well when beaten less than a length here last time. He can get involved again. Topweight Crystal Dawn won over 6f here in July and the extra furlong is the question mark hanging over her, while Cork second Sunset Dawn also has to prove his stamina over this trip.

It may have been a maiden restricted to horses rated 75 or less but SINDHIA travelled well and found plenty in the final furlong when winning here a fortnight ago. It was her first run since chasing home a smart filly at Limerick in July and she can continue to progress. Unforgetable has been running creditably in Stakes company all year and her rider's claim gives her a big chance as she drops into handicap company for the first time. She ran well in a Listed race on her only previous visit to Dundalk. Acquiescent ran a solid race when third over course and distance last week and ran Geological close here in August. She's clearly fully effective on the surface and is another to consider.

MY LAUREATE was a revelation here a fortnight ago when she broke quickly and made all to easily beat the much higher-rated Urban Beat. She's gone up 19lbs in the ratings as a result and if she can get close to matching that performance she'll be hard to beat. Urban Beat has run plenty of good races in Stakes and top handicap company this year without managing to get his head in front and will find it hard if the selection is in similar form on this occasion. A two-year-old won this last year and Muker ran well when third in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot in June. He's unexposed and may fare better than the other British challenger, Rocket Action, who rose through the handicapping ranks on the all-weather and managed a Listed placing at Deauville in August.

After a year off, ZAHEE made a promising start for Ado McGuinness when second to Sindhia (runs in 7.15) over a furlong further here two weeks ago. The Iffraaj gelding, raised to a mark of 80 after that outing, hadn't run in over a year and can go one better with Colin Keane on board once more. Shawaf was over four lengths behind the selection on that occasion but was just touched off in a handicap here last week and, having generally made the running in his races over seven furlongs and a mile, he might be suited by dropping to this shorter trip. Grey Streak has been placed in his last two outings on Turf and if taking to this surface can get involved, while Stalingrad was second on debut in June and may improve from last month's run at the Curragh which was his first appearance since then.
