Ockey De Neulliac comes into arrives boasting C&D-winning form and won't mind getting his toe into this soft ground, but he might need this first run for 200 days so a watching brief is advised. Kack Handed is preferred and this is very much Tim Vaughan's time of year. The Welsh handler has his horses in good order and his charge will be suited by the step up in trip having failed to land a blow over a quick 2m at Southwell latest. Fast Exit and Strong Euro are others to consider.

KELLYS BROW made light work of a similar race at Perth on his handicap bow last time and a 7lb rise for that success might not be enough to stop him going in again. Donald McCain's charge will thrive in the forecast testing ground and may have more to offer at this stage, so he's taken to land the hat-trick at the main expense of the returning Global Fella and Howizee.

ON BROADWAY must give Finnegan Paddy 7lb in this novice hurdle but the latter is returning from a 192-day absence and Lucinda Russell's charge arrives on the back of his C&D success on similar ground in June. After just two starts over timber, there is every chance the gelded son of Broadway Flyer will progress further in the coming months and, while expected to go off a warm order, he's tough to oppose. Rocking And Reelin makes most appeal of the remainder.

Seedless couldn't have been more impressive on her chase debut, albeit in a three-runner event at Cartmel in August, but this represents a much tougher test for Donald McCain's charge and she's opposed with LUCKY SUNNY. Lucinda Russell's representative has been handed just a 5lb rise for an accomplished Perth display on his debut over the larger obstacles last time and, in what looks a match between the pair on paper, he's likely to represent the value. Fred Bojangals rates best of the rest.

DOTTIES DILEMA confirmed the promised he'd shown in a point-to-point when notching in a C&D bumper earlier this year and, having handled similar underfoot conditions well on that occasion, he's expected to make a winning debut over timber today. El Toreros is winless in six starts over the jumps but must enter calculations, rated 120 for Tim Vaughan, while Morning Royalty is another interesting contender.

For all Moon Melody was mightily impressive when reverting to fences at Sedgefield last month, the son of Montjeu has been handed an 11lb rise in the ratings and is likely to be unsuited on the forecast heavy ground. With that in mind, Archie's Wish must come into the reckoning as he bids to reverse that form at the foot of the weights, but CILLISEAL gets the vote and holds genuine claims off this mark of 93 if punters are willing to forgive his most recent C&D flop when he was never able to get into a rhythm.

Look no further than WHISKY GALORE in the finale. The 105-rated son of Kyllachy must shoulder top-weight for this handicap but he won't mind the cut in the ground and arrives boasting useful pieces of form in Ireland. He went very close at Perth behind the useful Urban Kode off a mark of 95 in July and anything like that form should be good enough to see him dispose of Swiss Art and Front Rank.
