CREEK FALCON has been raised 8lb for his C&D success last week but there could be further improvement to come from him and he can play a leading role this evening. Lord Kenmare has claims on the form of his C&D second last week and Paene Magnus is worthy of consideration on his first foray into handicap company. Esporao won over hurdles at Perth last week and he is interesting back on the Flat.

ABBEY VALE had to settle for second best behind Fighter Squadron over this C&D last week but a reproduction of that effort might be good enough to go one better this time. Polished Rock took a step in the right direction at Leopardstown last time and he is accorded the utmost respect with further improvement likely. G Mac and One True Love can both improve for their debut runs and they should not be overlooked.

COCKTAIL HOUR was narrowly denied over 7f at Galway last month but she sets the standard on form and she is fancied to get her head in front this evening. Almalekiah is an interesting contender and she should be getting off the mark before long. Love And Cherish is interesting on her racecourse debut and Morga also makes plenty of appeal. They should both be monitored for market support.

NOCTURNAL AFFAIR has the highest official rating in the line-up and although his draw is not exactly ideal, he could still be the one to beat tonight. Experience also has solid form claims but the draw has done her no favours either. Balmont Mast should be capable of making his presence felt and it would be no surprise to see Burj Alzain play a leading role.

Black Spirit landed a Newbury Group 3 contest last month and he can be expected to give another good account here, along with Gowran Park Group 3 winner Aloof. Light Heavy was not disgraced behind Snow Fairy in the Group 1 Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown last month and he looks a big player, but DECLARATION OF WAR gets the nod. He ran out an impressive winner at the Curragh last week and there could be more to come from him.

HAIL has been raised 12lb for his 1m2f Clonmel success last month but the form has been franked by the second and third since and he can be expected to give another good account tonight. Akasaka is not impossibly handicapped on his best form and he acts well here so he merits a place on the shortlist. Taameer could also be in the shake-up and Bible Black should not be left out of calculations.

7

21:00 Dundalk (IRE) (Class 1) (3YO plus)

SAINT BY DAY has been raised 3lb for his narrow C&D success last month but a reproduction of that effort would give him every chance this evening. Accompanist finished three lengths behind him on that occasion but he still performed with credit and he is 3lb better off tonight so he can take a hand. Beart could get involved if putting his best foot forward and the same comments apply to Delphi Mountain.

Bobskier won a Clonmel claimer last month and she is worthy of consideration back in handicap company here. Annie Go won over 1m5f at Down Royal last time and a 9lb rise for that might not prevent another big run. However, slight preference is for RIDAYEF. He has been raised 10lb for his 1m3f success here last week but he might still have a bit more to offer on the Flat.
