Verdict

This looks to be a pretty straightforward task for SUMMMER OF LOVE with the Alan King filly by some way the most experienced horse in the field. Already having won and been placed on several occasions with only the one poor effort over timber, she can put that experience to good use in a race where serious rivals seem thin on the ground. Shavansky appears the main threat with two promising runs so far but the Matt Gingell pair have questions to answer with Kassuta not having gone on after her third place on her Fakenham debut and Etoile D'Or needing to settle.

Verdict

INGHWUNG will probably go off at prohibative odds here as in form trainer Oliver Sherwood has found a good opportunity for his mare to follow up on her win at Folkestone last month. She has progressed from showing solid form in bumpers with some decent runs over hurdles and with no apparent dangers this could turn out to be no more than an exercise canter. Mattaking makes his jumping debut and could figure along with Denise's Dip.

Verdict

Moon Mix is a winner in Ireland and was going well before falling at Plumpton, while Caliban suggested a return to form at Hereford latest. However, the nod goes to THE GREY BERRY from Philip Hobbs' yard. A recent recruit from the Flat, he will have been schooled enough back home to iron out the problems that beset him last time and he can solve this tricky puzzle.

Verdict

COMMEMORATION DAY was outjumped and outpointed at Warwick last time by a really progressive sort but on the book looks to hold a favourites chance here. However, this is no gimme with the likes of Autumn Red in the field. Very unlucky not to have hit the bulls eye before today, this consistent type has never run a bad race but Marvellous Dream needs to bounce back after being pulled up twice and The Ring was somewhat disappointing last time.
