VOLCANIC DUST hasn't won for over two years but she's dropped 26lb lower than her last winning rating and could figure under Richard Kingscote now eased in grade. Royal Caper is 3lb lower than when scoring over 7f here last winter and is worth a market check now dropping back in trip, as he has been campaigned over 7f to 1m on recent starts. Others worthy of shortlist inclusion are Peter Grayson's pair Flow Chart and Rightcar, as conditions here are suitable for both.

Pool House has gradually improved with each run and sets the standard with an official rating of 76. Andrew Balding's colt was beaten by only half a length over this trip on soft ground at Epsom last time and could figure if proving as effective on this faster surface on his all-weather bow, but marginal preference is for the unexposed Godolphin representative ALMARGO, who could improve appreciably for his Lingfield (6f) debut third. Last-time-out Wolverhampton fifth Quantum Dot steps up in trip but is also considered.

Kielty's Folly has been raised 3lb for his win over track and trip last month and may be vulnerable in a field full of unexposed three-year-old's. PRIMO D'ORO gets the verdict as he was noted as putting in his best work at the finish when third over 6f here last time and, off an unchanged mark, he's expected to improve for the return to this longer trip. Knight Charm was runner-up over C&D off this mark last month and is also high on the shortlist.

SANTADELACRUZE has returned a beaten favourite on both of his last two outings over 1m2f at Lingfield but this mark is seemingly deemed to be within his capabilities. Ryan Moore is booked for the job and, although 5lb higher than when scoring at Lingfield three runs back, he's interesting now reverting to 1m. Evermore is lightly-raced and would be interesting if the money is down, while Tagalaka, who is only 1lb higher than his C&D win in May, could benefit from the fitting of first-time blinkers.

RED GALILEO has had to be content with silver medals on all three of his outings to date, firstly in maiden company at Newmarket and York and latterly in a conditions race at Newbury. Nevertheless, he sets a clear form standard on those efforts and may be capable of capitalising on a drop in grade to open his account at the fourth attempt. Carlisle maiden winner Zumurudah looks the main danger ahead of 76-rated Andy Dandy and Alastair Lidderdale's newcomer Capers Royal Star.

TOP TUG left behind a moderate debut showing over 7f at Sandown when upped to 1m here in August, getting up to score by a neck despite hanging left at the finish. There is likely better to come from Sir Michael Stoute's handicap debutant and an opening mark of 81 is workable. Morally Bankrupt has been handed a 4lb rise for his neck victory over C&D last time but should continue to progress for Richard Hannon. Art Wave returns to 1m after scoring in a 7f Wolverhampton maiden and appears best of the rest.

ROSACEOUS has been handed a 3lb rise for her half-length defeat over 1m2f at Ffos Las last month but should remain competitive now granted this extra furlong. The main danger appears to be Jazz Master, who was sent off favourite when second over track and trip last time and has Silvestre De Sousa back in the saddle (on board for C&D win two runs ago). Fresa is worth a market check now returning from a 433-day absence as she demonstrated ability on turf last year and is unexposed over this trip.

Bowstar was beaten by under a length over 1m here last month and is expected to give a good account despite a subsequent 3lb rise and this drop in distance. Preference, however, is for MRS WARREN, who hasn't been overly raced this term and struck over 7f at Catterick when last sighted in July. Red Tulip needs to bounce back from a wayward effort over 1m here last time but she did strike over the same track and trip on her penultimate start and shouldn't be inconvenienced by this drop in distance.
