CLOTH EARS is no stranger to success on the all-weather having shed her maiden tag at Wolverhampton this time last year and the five-year-old now looks ready to get her head back in front off what looks an attractive mark of 50. Danny Brock takes off a useful 7lb in the saddle and most recent performances have suggested she is returning to something like her best. Wreningham can also boast form over the minimum distance and shouldn't be overlooked along with Radiator Rooney.

SUNRISE DANCE clearly sets the form standard in this maiden event and the Alan Jarvis representative is expected to appreciate this drop in class. The Monsieur Bond filly was a very creditable runner-up in what looked at hot York nursery two starts ago and wasn't too far behind in similar company at Chester last month. There should be more to come from Gabrial's Bounty while Bookiesindexdotnet is another with strong claims.

The well-bred daughter of Sakhee, DAZAKHEE, is of particular interest in this handicap as the four-year-old appears feasibly treated off this mark of 64. Not too far away in similar circumstances at Wolverhampton last time out, another bold account is expected with course winning form already in the book. There is no doubt Green Lightning will get the trip having scored over 1m6f at Wolverhampton last time but the Mark Johnston charge must carry a 6lb penalty for that success. Fairest Isle rates best of the rest.

ULLA appeared to benefit from the switch in surface when scoring on her polytrack/handicap debut at Wolverhampton last month. Chris Wall's charge has been handed a 3lb rise for her troubles but this step up in trip and her lightly-raced profile could ensure she stays one step ahead of the assessor. Carlton Scroop has dropped in the weights of late and has place claims now returned to handicaps but of more interest is the consistent Rowan Ridge, who was staying on in the closing stages over 1m2f here last time.

AMBIVALENT was off the mark at the first time of asking over the extended mile at Wolverhampton last time and probably rates a little better than the bare form suggested having taken a keen hold in midfield in the early stages of the contest, showing plenty of greenness. Another winning debutant to consider is Misdemeanour, an Azamour filly who quickened up nicely to score over C&D on debut and looks feasibly treated on an opening perch of 80. Costa Del Fortune looks stable second string on jockey bookings but has place claims off a mark 5lb higher than when scoring over 7f at Epsom last time.

This should go the way of SWANSEA JACK. His three wins from four starts on polytrack have come here and although he carries a 6lb penalty for his recent success here, following up on his previous Yarmouth victory. Kai Mook, a model of consistency at the start of the year, could be the one for the forecast as she returns from a summer break but has plenty on her plate at the weights. Know No Fear hasn't won for a year but is well weighted and might be running back into form.

Providing he handles the switch to the polytrack, GUSTO should take all the beating here. The Haydock maiden winner has subsequently run with credit in two Listed races and a Conditions race and should prove far too good for these rivals if transferring that ability from the turf. Quite A Thing has won two of her five starts - including on polytrack - and must be given every chance back in novice company while Shere Khan and the blinkered-first-time Piranha could be capable of running into a place.

Although he's up 2lb for a short-head success over a mile here last month, LOVE NEST looks the one to be on. He appears to be better over this trip and might still be open to some improvement. The danger looks to be Flaxen Lake, who has been knocking on the door of late but might need some help from the handicapper to get his head in front again. Silvee is in good form but her three wins have all come over 6f and she has plenty to do here, conceding weight away all round.
