JUDIES CHILD can be forgiven her most recent effort on the all-weather surface at Dundalk and is taken to return to her best here. The minimum distance at Tipperary on debut appeared to suit most and the daughter of Majestic Missile is more than worthy of another look. Balmont Mast is beginning to look exposed but continues to pose a threat in this company while Little Bing Bang is expected to improve again and makes most appeal at each-way terms.

The well-bred daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar, STONES PEAK, proved she has a big run in her off this mark of 56 when returning to something like her best at Down Royal last time out. C&D winning form also bodes well despite the lack of promise shown on easy ground. Bubbly Bellini is another who has shaped well recently and is interesting despite having disappointed favourite backers on the sand at Laytown in September but Lake Wanaka rates the most serious threat to the selection following her short-head defeat at Ffos Las latest.

HIDDEN UNIVERSE commands the utmost respect in this maiden event over 2m having scored in three bumpers last year and recorded a highly creditable second in the Grade 1 Champion Novice Hurdle at Punchestown earlier this year. The Dermot Weld inmate should have enough for these but Louisville Lip and Clonbur have both shown potential and will be there to pounce if the selection falters.

VOLEUSE DE COEURS made a debut full of promise behind John Oxx's Akeed Wafi at Gowran last month, keeping on well in the closing stages and suggesting he'd be better for the run. Of the others with previous racecourse experience, Purple is feared most, although he didn't really build upon a fair debut sixth at the Curragh when last sighted in a smaller field at Killarney and the main dangers may be lurking amongst the newcomers, with Hasten, a half-sister to Jan Vermeer, making most appeal ahead of stablemate Kissed.

Tower Rock looks the pick of the Ballydoyle representatives and this son of Dylan Thomas, who holds entries in English and Irish Classics next season, warrants close inspection in the market on his racecourse bow. Stablemates Hail and Warwick Avenue are other interesting Aidan O'Brien newcomers with big-race entries to their names, but with the benefit of racecourse experience over the aforementioned trio, QUOTE OF THE DAY gets the vote. The selection showed up well on debut when third at Listowel and promises to be suited by this extra furlong.

LEROY PARKER benefitted from the step up to this trip when scoring at Sligo last time and remains open to improvement over middle-distances on what is only his third start in handicap company. Dermot Weld's charge has been raised 8lb for that recent success but can defy the rise on soft ground known to suit. Boulay had Tupelo Honey back in third when grabbing second at the Curragh last time and there is unlikely to be much between that pair once again. Akinspirit is in good heart at present and, chasing a hat-trick on the level, is another to consider.

Sunset Stanza hasn't yet lived up to his billing but this nicely bred colt, who is out of a full-sister to Dewhurst winner Distant Music, could be galvanised by the fitting of first-time cheekpieces. However, over this longer trip, preference is for SMITHFIELD, who relished slow ground when second over this trip at the Curragh last month and won't have any stamina problems over the trip. Tugboat, fifth behind the selection at the Curragh last time, is entitled to improve with that run under his belt and is another to consider.
