CLASSICAL ROSE is three wins from seven starts on the all-weather following another gutsy success at Lingfield at the expense of Golden Wedding and she can continue on an upward trajectory. Up 3lb for her latest success, she is effectively 2lb lower when taking into account George Wood's 5lb claim in the plate and she can get the better of the consistent Hala Madrid and returning Mazaaher.

VIVO PER LEI got off the mark in good style at Lingfield over 10 furlongs last month and can go in again with that confidence-boosting success under her belt. Up just the 4lb in the weights, that seems generous given her unexposed profile and connections have found their filly another winnable opening. Top Pocket has been knocking hard on the door in recent months and heads the list of dangers from Cape Spirit.

Ahead Of Time makes plenty of appeal on breeding and the market should tell us more about the sole newcomer in the field, while chances are also given to Windsor third Fair Power and Nottingham third Padleyourowncanoe. The verdict is for MORNING SUIT, though, a creditable fifth in a warm Doncaster maiden on his racecourse introduction from which the second Reach High has since franked the form at Ascot.

Hayward Field is a potential improver stepping up in distance on his handicap debut and is noted along with Tyrell. One of only two previous winners in the field is BIGGER AND BETTER, though, and he's taken to confirm the promise he showed at Bath 12 days ago. Not winning out of turn following a close-up second at the Somerset track two starts ago, he is on an upward curve and is unchanged on a mark of 67 going back into handicap company.

DUTCH DESTINY comes into this lightly raced having just had the two starts and an opening mark of 81 seems lenient for this daughter of Dutch Art. Battlement is another that looks ahead of her mark and ran well on her return when looking to need the outing so the daughter of Dansili can only improve on that initial effort. Nassuvian Pearl needs to calm down after her antics at Chelmsford last time but the fact she went there for the Fred Darling suggests connections think a fair amount of her.

MICKEY HALLER ran well enough on handicap debut to suggest he has a future in this sphere and gets a handy 7lb taken off his back by Jordan Ulys. Silver Bid should improve stepped back up in distance after contesting a decent handicap last time at Newmarket behind Majestic Hero, while Bank Of Gibraltar will benefit from the step back in distance and Tom Marquand's valuable 3lb claim.

MAZZINI makes the most appeal here on his handicap debut off a mark of 73 and the son of Exceed And Excel already holds the lofty entry for the July Cup which suggests he could be a fair bit better than what we have seen to date. He comes from a lovely sprinting family, all trained by James Fanshawe, with his dam a dual Listed winner and her full sister Frizzante a Group 1 winner in the 2004 July Cup. Papa Luigi got off the mark at Wolverhampton two starts ago and warrants respect if turned out immediately following his ready success at Windsor on Monday, for which he shoulders a 6lb penalty, while Equinette showed promise in maidens last year and has scope for improvement now in handicaps.
