Having supplemented a promising second-placed debut at Newbury with a breakthrough victory at Yarmouth, this could prove a suitable opportunity for BIDSTA to follow up. George Boughey's filly scored a shade cosily and looks capable of shouldering a 7lb penalty, with Threelittleangels feared most. The daughter of Harry Angel offered plenty to work with on her opening third over C&D and improvement is forecast. Lilywhite Hart is the pick of the remainder.
Threelittleangels showed plenty on her C&D debut and normal progress can see her go close, but we'll stick with the previous winner BIDSTA, who scored at short odds last time at Yarmouth following a promising debut at Newbury. She almost certainly has more to offer. Sarasota Blue Blue is an interesting one as she lost the race early on debut but was expected to go well according to the betting. Much better can be expected now.

An official rating of 69 on her nursery debut looks workable and she isn't taken lightly, but a wide draw may leave her vulnerable. This could leave the door open for Leicester runner-up SOEUR DE FLASH to gain some compensation, with a 2lb nudge up the ratings looking fair. Laylaty and Sydney Grace are others of interest.

Lily Pink would be a deserved winner having occupied the runner-up spot on two of her three racecourse appearances, while Watch Party has looked ready for a step up to a mile on both of her starts and also enters calculations. Newcomers Red Curry and Playhouse represent powerful yards and are of definite interest, but this could be all about NEWS. The daughter of Cracksman, who is from the family of 1000 Guineas heroine Mother Earth, looked potentially smart when bolting up at Southwell and the penalty might not be enough to stop her from going in again.

Lingfield debut winner SIN CITY was out of his depth in a conditions race over C&D next time, but he still retains lots of potential and is expected to be good enough to shoulder a penalty and regain the winning thread in this novice event. Kinetic Impact has shown promise and might be capable of better having been gelded since his latest Salisbury effort, while El Presidente is also in the mix.
Assiri Heights has talent but appears to have breathing issues along with it. He's opposed with KINETIC IMPACT, who should have made it more of a stamina test down to this trip last time. HAVANA TOUCH struggled on the turf at Ayr latest but the three-time course winner will be much happier back on an artificial surface, not least around here, and can get back on track in the hands of Billy Loughnane. Eupator's handicap mark has been on a steady decline but he's shown enough at times this year to suggest he can take advantage if things go his way, and don't rule out the top-weight Marsh Benham because he was far from disgraced at Brighton last time.
Mr Nugget is still 3lb above his last winning mark, but will be happier back on the AW and can go well, as can Potomac River, a good second over C&D two starts back. He failed to shine at Newmarket last time but this looks more his bag. The selection, though, is HAVANA TOUCH, a two-time C&D winner this season who would not have been suited by soft ground back on turf latest. He still looks on a fair mark returning here.

GUNFIGHTER had Asteverdi a length back in third when finally proving that he stays a mile for a C&D success and connections must feel confident in his follow-up bid because they have booked Billy Loughnane. The horse who got closest to him last time wasn't able to boost the form in a Newmarket affair won by Berry Clever, so Chris Dwyer's five-year-old has to be considered dangerous. The Hare Rail dug deep to break through at Wolverhampton, but this requires more.
This can go to BERRY CLEVER, who returned to winning ways at Newmarket two weeks ago and has taken just a 3lb rise, leaving him on the sort of mark he was performing well off this summer. He's just favoured over Gunfighter, a last-time-out C&D winner who has received a 3lb rise of his own. He should again go well, while The Hare Rail is coming off a win of his own at Wolverhampton. Although Meet Me In Meraki only won by a nose at Southwell last month, he ran on well over a furlong shorter and an added 2lb from the handicapper still leaves him looking competitive. However, HARLINGTON returns to a mile and a half after competing over 10 furlongs since January and having won off 1lb higher at Chelmsford in February, he looks the best handicapped. Mountbatten has to come into the equation as well.
Meet Me In Meraki is in fine form, winning his last two at Chester and Southwell, and he holds obvious claims of a hat-trick, but the gelding operation could have worked the trick for MOUNTBATTEN, who hasn't really kicked on since winning at Southwell in the summer. He's still on a good mark, though, and could begin to realise his potential. Top weight Harlington will be happier back on AW and is one to consider also but lacks the potential of the selection.

Zero Carbon has won here four times over this trip, all of them off far higher marks, and although he hasn't been at his best for a while, Billy Loughnane takes the ride and may yet reinvigorate the seven-year-old. Red Hat Eagle has been knocking on the door, with a third at Thirsk his latest placed effort, but so does STRONG VOICE, who is long overdue a victory. Headed close home when second at Lingfield, a slightly more patient ride could finally see success.
Phoenix Of Dreams has been in solid form at Southwell of late and can again go well, but this could go to one of the 3yos with BOLD SHOUT fancied most. He finished well having not got the best of runs at Southwell two weeks ago and, unexposed at 7f, could still prove favourably weighted. Angels' Share and Strong Voice, both of whom have been running well in defeat at Lingfield of late, are others to consider in a competitive little heat.
