A very moderate contest and stakes should be kept to a minimum but the preference is for MISS MAYSON, who has improved with every start to date and she should find this race more suitable than maiden company. Blastofmagic would have a chance if his poor run last time was just a blip, while this is the weakest race that At The Beach has contested and he merits a place on the shortlist.

RED FLUTE appears to be at his very best on Polytrack and he has been running consistently well in recent months on the surface. The four-year-old looks sure to be on the premises once again tonight. Willow Spring and Diminutive are others who merit the utmost respect in this mediocre event, while Catalinas Diamond is on a decent mark if she can put her best foot forward.

HYPER DREAM looked in need of the experience when a close second at Chelmsford a couple of weeks ago and this daughter of classic winner Virginia Waters should prove hard to beat with that run under her belt. Chica De La Noche was not far behind the selection last time but she is far more exposed. Fairy Lights is out of a half-sister to Dubawi, while Cheerfilly is another newcomer to note.

Circulate sets the standard following her fifth on debut over 6f here a few weeks ago, but she may prove vulnerable to some well-bred newcomers. AMBROSIA is the latest daughter of Frankel to make her debut and she is a half-sister to the Group 3 winner Decorated Knight. She is also the family of Giant's Causeway and Gleneagles. Tribute Act is a half-sister to the Group 1 winner Ribbons, while Shaaqaaf cost connections 200,000gns as a yearling.

GHEEDAA kept on well in the closing stages when second over this trip on debut at Yarmouth and should be all the wiser for the experience gained. The main danger may be Tundra, who lost little in defeat when fourth over this trip first time out at Kempton and is entitled to improve with the benefit of that initial experience now under her belt. Richard Hannon inmate Qatari Riyals is considered the main danger from the newcomers in the line up.

CASABLANCA has been knocking hard on the door lately and is taken to build on her Chester second over the extended 1m2f now granted this stiffer test. 78-rated John Gosden inmate Vermeulen has place claims if building on his recent Chelmsford 1m2f third, while it will be interesting to see if St Malo can improve with his debut spin at Chelmsford now behind him. The booking of Ryan Moore is a positive for Plenary, who is no forlorn hope for a place.

ARISTOCRATIC landed a distance maiden at Kempton in August and although she was beaten by two lengths off this mark when returned to the handicap ranks last time, the fitting of first-time cheekpieces could spark immediate improvement. Owaseyf drops back in distance after finishing fourth over the extended mile at Windsor and could play a supporting role, though she does have a little to find with her Kempton conqueror Catchment on their run in August.

Charlie Hills' GARTER kept on well in the closing stages when landing a 7f handicap here last week, with Capital Gearing finishing back in third, and is expected to benefit from the switch back to a mile. Bazzat knuckled down well to score over this trip at Chelmsford City last time and is also expected to finish on the premises if he returns in anything like the same form.
