Multitask made it four wins on the bounce when getting up to score at Brighton but he will find life much tougher off his revised mark. Dream Of Summer was behind the selection at Lingfield and should close the gap now but the one who makes most appeal is GLENALMOND. The selection was much improved when finishing third behind a progressive rival over this C&D recently and he looks handicapped to win races off his current mark.

ARCHER'S ARROW made a debut full of promise when finishing second to a smart prospect of Sir Michael Stoute's at Redcar and having pushed the winner all the way on that occasion, he is strongly fancied to go one better this evening. Stoute saddles Pivoine on this occasion and the market could prove a fair guide to expectations of that one, while Kissoffire shaped really well on his debut at this track back in the summer and is another with obvious potential.

It is hard to believe that PORT ISAAC is still a maiden given the considerable potential the gelded son of Sakhee has displayed in two starts to date. A narrow defeat at the hands of a more experienced rival on his Salisbury debut was backed up with another fine runner-up finish at Yarmouth and it is surely only a matter of time before he gets off the mark. This looks a good opportunity, with the experienced Compas Scoobie feared most following a fair effort in handicap company last time. Cinders might prove best of the rest.

HAJAJ relished a step up in trip when getting off the mark at Chelmsford in August and the two-year-old could be open to further improvement. Charlie Fellowes' charge learnt plenty from his Newmarket debut and should have relished an eight-week break. The form of Anfaass' recent Thirsk triumph received a boost on Monday when the second won at Pontefract, while Shipping Forecast ran a decent race at Newbury last time out and warrants a market check now trying Polytrack for the first time.

OWER FLY was far from disgraced when fourth in a stronger contest at Ascot last time and is considered a danger to all now returned to 0-85 company. Florencio has struggled for consistency on turf of late but is interesting now moving back onto the all-weather as he's 2-3 on synthetics. He does, however, need to demonstrate his effectiveness over 7f, a comment that does not apply to Golden Wedding and the returning Presumido.

Frenchman is turned out under a penalty after scoring over 6f at Newcastle last time and may be vulnerable, even over this longer trip. Preference is for RIPOLL, who appeared to win a shade cosily after a bad start over track and trip last time and may be underestimated after a 5lb rise. Alejandro went down by a head over this trip and off this mark at Chelmsford latest and has place claims along with Harry Dunlop's hat-trick seeker Finelcity.

Canford Belle went close when finishing a neck second over this trip at Catterick last time out and should be thereabouts from a low draw. Preference, however, is for COLOR FORCE, an unexposed three-year-old from the Gay Kelleway stable that left behind her maiden form when third on her handicap debut at Yarmouth and should be thereabouts here if running to her rating. Deftera Lad was second over 1m here last time and could also finish on the premises.

JUST FRED has been knocking on the door over shorter trips lately and is taken to build on his Wolverhampton second over the extended 1m1f last time now granted this stiffer test. Sund City took a forward step when placed off 1lb higher at Chepstow over 1m2f but she disappointed at Windsor on Monday, while recent Brighton second Galuppi and Munsarim have place claims, the latter of whom is back down to the same mark he won off over track and trip in the summer.
