RIBBONS 'N' ROSES has shown a fair level of form on her two outings to date having finished behind Roly Poly on debut before a decent third behind Courage Under Fire, both runs coming at Naas, and the daughter of Cape Cross can make it third time lucky. Imagine If turns out quickly after a good second behind Spirit Of Valor here on Sunday and the drop down a furlong shouldn't pose any issues, while Porto Ferro is a player on her most recent efforts.

A couple of last-time-out winners look to head the shortlist in Enter The Red, Doonard Prince and FUTURE ICON. Edward Lynam's charge, the latter, clearly benefited from the return to 5f at Navan and a 6lb rise in the weights shouldn't prove enough to stop the daughter of Acclamation. The aforementioned pair both drop down in distance and are players on their recent performances, while Battleroftheboyne is clearly better than his last run at the Curragh and is worth a second look.

CAPTAIN POWER can be forgiven his effort at the Curragh last time as he got upset in the stalls beforehand and never appeared happy throughout the contest. This strong travelling son of Captain Rio should appreciate this smaller field and has built up a good rapport with Robbie Downey. Giant Spark was a beaten favourite in a competitive handicap at Ayr last time but merits plenty of respect coming over for Paul Midgley, while Rattling Jewel has been knocking on the door recently and has solid claims.

ELY PLACE shaped well on debut when seventh behind Yucatan at the Curragh in August and is entitled to find further improvement from that effort and potentially for encountering a softer surface. Harbour Beacon merits respect for his second to Finn McCool earlier in the month, while Tenth Amendment was highly touted before his debut at Galway when fifth behind Lost In Silence and should take a step forward here.

Plenty of these turn up with questions to answer but preference goes to WALLER FIELD, who makes her handicap debut with a first-time visor and is the least exposed in the field. Others worthy of consideration include William Ashford, who has been in excellent form but needs to bounce back from a slightly below par effort, Rose Anjou, who has been knocking on the door of late, and Prove The Point, who is capable of going close.

A Shin Kildare finally got off the mark at Roscommon in August after previously looking in danger of becoming disappointing, while Elm Grove is a more consistent type but could struggle to defy the widest draw. This could be left at the mercy of PAPAL PARADE, who has won two of her last three races and remains open to further improvement. She remains in rude health and should go well despite an 11lb rise. Best Destination and Melanna complete the list of likely contenders.

Aidan O'Brien unsurprisingly leads the way in terms of entries with five runners and perhaps Like A Star will prove to be the pick of his runners now with first-time blinkers applied. Jim Bolger is always feared in such races and the debut of CONSTANCIO when third at this venue was highly promising and the son of Authorized could land this before moving onto better things. He stayed on well at the finish there and could have the required improvement to make up enough ground on Vigil, who was a disappointing second in the same event.
