Reveleon is a half-brother to Dubka and will probably be seen to best effect when faced with further on turf, while fellow newcomer King And Empire cost six figures as a yearling and represents the powerful Qatar Racing operation. COOLONGOLOOK ran a race full of promise when third on racecourse bow behind two potentially smart types and, being out of a dam that won over a mile on the all-weather as a juvenile, connections are clearly hoping that history can repeat itself here.

DAZZLE GOLD caught the eye here last month when third in a hot race and he could have more to offer on Polytrack. The step up in distance should suit the two-year-old and he can put his experience to good use before moving onto better things next season. Tenedos wears a tongue-tie on debut but is bred to know his job on debut, while Maaward is related to an all-weather winner and should relish conditions.

CAPE TO CUBA has plenty of solid form in the book and took another step forward when only narrowly losing out over this C&D last month. She still looks to be progressing and can open her account for a James Fanshawe stable that tends to do well at this time of year. Glendun and Traveller are others who have been knocking hard on the door of late, while the lightly-raced Clock Chimes still has the scope for further progress.

Roger Varian has found a weak race for GORHAM'S CAVE and he is taken to get off the mark at the third time of asking. The selection shaped with promise on his Doncaster debut and although beaten a long way at Leicester subsequently, conditions were very testing that day and he should find this surface much easier to handle. In such a poor contest, the more experienced Zilza looks the pick of the remainder ahead of Agnethe.

THE MUMS was well beaten on her latest outing at Doncaster behind Ellthea but the daughter of Holy Roman Emperor can benefit from the step back up to 7f and first-time cheekpieces. Motown Mick warrants respect in his bid for a hat-trick after successes at Chepstow and Windsor, while Barig Al Thumama and Di Fede have solid credentials on what they have achieved so far.

CLIFFS OF CAPRI showed ability on both his starts as a two-year-old which included a win at Wolverhampton on his most recent outing when beating Archer's Arrow by a length and a quarter. A mark of 84 looks more than fair for the son of Canford Cliffs. Mandarin is one to respect with a first-time tongue tie returning from a break, while Noble Conquest appeals as an improver now starting life in handicap company.

LADY KAVIAR was an impressive winner over a mile here last time and George Margarson's filly must hold serious claims once again if proving just as effective back down at seven furlongs. The Newmarket handler has a more than worthy second string in Caribbean Spring, while Q Cee and Angelical Eve are others who are worthy of a place on the shortlist.

RAASHDY's Chelmsford victory last time was the four-year-old's first in nearly a year and was a welcome return to form. He isn't the most reliable but a chance is taken on him using that latest performance as a springboard and more is possible from just a 3lb higher mark. The Juggler was a length adrift that day and looks the main danger, while Kevin Frost's Pershing went close over hurdles recently and should arrive here fighting fit.
