STRONGLY SUGGESTED had Cloudy Bob (second) and Alberobello (fifth) behind when scoring readily a month ago. He is also a triple winner at this venue and, with retained jockey Barry Geraghty taking over in the plate, will be well fancied to defy a 7lb rise. The other pair have chances while Horatio Hornblower is worth a market check ahead of his first appearance since March and Modeligo interestingly beat the selection at Stratford two starts ago. Something was possibly amiss with him last time.

BARAZA had been in cracking form earlier this year, winning two of his four appearances, and despite a further 4lb rise in the ratings, he is very much the one to beat again. Keep Moving wasn't disgraced in a stronger Newbury event when last sighted and warrants plenty of respect off bottom weight, while dual hurdles scorer Take A Break remains unexposed over the larger obstacles and could run well at probable each-way odds.

Scotchtown, Rolling Dylan and Solomn Grundy were all fair hurdlers, rated 135, 132 and 132 respectively, and all three of them demand respect on their chasing debut, but it might pay to side with the experience and race-fitness of PICKAMIX. This bumper and hurdles winner only found the classy Adrien Du Pont too good on his first start over the larger obstacles at Fontwell 19 days ago and he is entitled to strip fitter and know a lot more about the game now.

A tricky bumper to assess with little form to go on and many top trainers represented. Smuggler's Blues managed to win a point-to-point and represents powerful connections, while Coromandel, Malachite, Mystical Clouds, Shall We Go Now and Skidoosh are all worth a market check at least. It could, however, pay to take a chance on the Philip Hobbs/Richard Johnson representative HURLSTONE POINT. She receives the handy fillies allowance and is certainly bred to have plenty of ability, being a half-sister to winners Parthian Empire, Catherines Well and Neville.

Big Penny ran on well in the closing stages when getting up by a neck at Bangor last time and should appreciate this extra yardage, though preference is instead for FOLLOW THE BEAR, who landed a novice hurdle under aggressive tactics at Kempton last term and appears on a workable mark now switched to handicaps. C&D winner Old Harry Rocks and the consistent Focaccia, who is sporting first-time cheekpieces, are others considered.

SPRINGTOWN LAKE was headed in the final strides on his hurdles bow when second over the extended 2m3f at Ascot in April and should take all of the beating if running to a similar level on his seasonal bow. Another Stowaway finished an outpaced second over 2m at Warwick when last sighted in March and is feared most now granted this stiffer test. This step up in distance is similarly expected to suit the returning Book of Gold.

EQUUS MILLAR was bang in contention when falling at the last at Bangor last month and if he can polish up his jumping, now he has the benefit of the run behind him, he could feasibly strike second time out. Motueka took a step in the right direction when third in an Exeter bumper and is expected to improve for this longer trip now switched to timber. Patgary boasts winning form between the flags and is also shortlisted now debuting under Rules.

Nicky Henderson's representative MELANGERIE signed off last season by landing a Cheltenham bumper under a penalty and is expected to kick off her hurdles career on a winning note. David's Phoebe is improving with experience and should finish on the premises if building on her Market Rasen second last month. The pick of the remainder may be Philip Hobbs' debutant Anndarrow, who is closely related to a hurdles winner.
