The Ralph Beckett-trained DANDY ALYS showed considerable improvement from her debut when narrowly denied at Newbury last month and although this shorter trip is a slight concern, she sets the standard here. Three Beauz shaped with plenty of promise when runner-up at Yarmouth on her racecourse debut and is entitled to have learned plenty from that experience. Impeachment has run well on both her starts to date and looks sure to give another good account.

In receipt of weight all round SHARRON MACREADY gets the nod to get off the mark at the second time of asking. The fact she hasn't been seen since shaping well when second at Wolverhampton on debut in January is a concern, but if fully tuned up for this she could take all the beating. Give A Little Back drops back down in trip and has blinkers applied for the first time, so if those changes have the desired affect he could go well. Phoenix Beach found the minimum trip a little too sharp at Hamilton last time and a return to 6f is likely to suit.

The William Haggas-trained GOOD MEASURE has shaped as though the step up to this trip could unlock further improvement and gets the vote in what looks a tricky affair. He's finished fourth on both starts to date, most recently at Thirsk, and it's interesting that cheekpieces are applied for the first time. Willard Creek has been a beaten favourite on his last two starts and although he's shown obvious ability, conceding weight all round tempers enthusiasm. Any market support behind newcomer Salve Japan would be significant.

FLYLIKEANEAGLE is up 2lb for winning comfortably at Musselburgh last week but he will be going up another 2lb for future starts, so connections will hope to strike again off his current mark. He might prove too strong for Global Art, who looks interesting with his jockey claiming 7lb, and perhaps Hot Chesnut, who won here off 3lb higher in October, but has been out of sorts over shorter trips since.

EAGLE'S WAY is hard to oppose as he looks for his hat-trick and even with a 6lb penalty for his latest success, he is still 3lb better off then in future races. Both his recent wins have been over this trip and everything looks in his favour once again. Definite is on the upgrade and seems likely to provide the sternest opposition if he gets a free hand at the front, while Francesi may have stamina issues upped in trip if the race is run at a decent pace as expected.

At The Double seems sure to be popular here after winning over shorter last time out. He has been raised 10lb for future races but runs under a 6lb penalty here, but a chance is taken on MUKHA MAGIC, the only distance winner in the field. His Chelmsford all-weather success was followed by a second at Kempton, both in better-class handicaps and, dropped in grade off the same mark, he could go well. Scudamore is another worth serious consideration here after his course win over shorter, where he stayed on nicely close home.
